Wow. The prawn tang hoon is superb! The best in Penang. The butter pork is also another outstanding dish. We ordered 8 dishes in total and most of them were spot on!

This is my second visit to the eatery. The first time I only tried their fried rice and I love it, decided to order more dishes to try on my second visit.

I visited during lunchtime and ordered the pork backbone stew, a vegetable dish called pad liang (melinjo leaves from Thailand), and a garlic fried pork belly. All the dishes arrived hot, which is good.

The pork backbone stew was tender, with the meat easily falling off the bone. The sauce was well balanced and flavourful, though I found it not quite spicy enough. The pad liang was a pleasant surprise, it tasted slightly like daun manis (from Malaysians pan mee). One clear favourite at the table was the garlic fried pork belly. It has a pleasant and bold garlicky flavour, and the meat itself was tender and satisfying.

In terms of price, it was a little on the steep side, with the three dishes coming to RM108 for two people. That said, the ambience was comfortable and the service was good.

Had a wonderful dinner at Thai House Cafe! Went as a party of two and everything was spot on. The food was extremely delicious and full of authentic flavors, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I made a reservation beforehand, so there was no waiting time at all, which made the experience even better. Truly enjoyed the whole evening and will definitely visit again.
Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed dining here. The environment is clean and comfortable with air conditioning, and the music creates a relaxing atmosphere. The food tastes authentic and full of Thai flavors, and every dish looks as good as it tastes — truly a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Overall a great experience, would definitely come back again.

This marks my third visit to this fantastic restaurant, and I must say, I’ve developed a strong affinity for it. During my trips to Penang, I always ensure that I dine here at least once daily, and I’m never disappointed. This is third time

I’ve visited quite a few Thai restaurants but this one is a little different.
The menu is extensive. Quite a few sounds new for me.
1) The Fried Pork Knuckle is one of the best I’ve ever tried but it’s pricing is higher than all the others I’ve tried at RM98. Average pricing at other restaurants were around RM70 in the average but it’s very good. The fatty part almost melts in the mouth and the crispy skin is crunchy. Even the meat is tender which is surprising. I was expecting the meat to be tough like the others I’ve tried. 5 stars for this.
2) Stir fried Melinjo with egg however is so so. Haven’t tried this or even heard of Melinjo before. I was curious so I ordered to see if it’s good. Unfortunately it’s nothing to shout about so I give this a 3 star rating.
3) Cha-Om Omelette taste good though. I like it. Eat this with rice and I’m satisfied. So I’ll give this 4 stars.
4) Tomyam seafood soup taste quite good and not too spicy. I enjoyed it. I usually don’t like tomyam soup that much as many were too salty and spicy. Makes me sweat in my head and hair Quite a lot of prawns a little squid, mushrooms and fish. I’ll give this one 4 stars.
All in all the only dish I don’t love is the Melinjo veggie or is it leaves in my opinion. It feels like it’s leaves.
There’s so many choices that I have to come many times to try. My favorite is mostly the Thai Fried Pork Knuckle. It’s actually the front leg. Knuckle is a little misleading. We couldn’t finish the pork Knuckle and had to tapau back. 3 of us went to eat so it’s a little bit much on the “Knuckle” order.
