Thai House is a classic small, no-frills spot tucked into a strip plaza, with limited seating, limited menu options and a focus on takeout. Don’t let the simple setup fool you—the food was surprisingly good.
I started with the wonton soup, which was flavorful! The chicken Pad Thai was perfection: tender chicken, and just the right balance of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors.
If you’re looking for delicious Thai food in the Athens area, this place is a must-try.

It was a good and inexpensive place. I get fried rice at a different Thai restaurant Everytime I travel. This was good, but not great. It felt like they added pineapple to generic fried rice, which falls short. I would still recommend it, but I’m not going to say it was the best.

Excellent lunch eaten in the restaurant
Wife is gluten free- no problem – both dishes are GF – confirmed by server
Singapore noodles with chicken- nice size portion, good flavor, fresh veggies
Panang curry with tofu – fresh veggies and crispy tofu in a spicy coconut based “soup” , served with white rice…Very good
The restaurant is very small – maybe 7 tables
The menu has pricing for cash or credit card…
I asked for a takeout menu- “we don’t have one now” – strange, I guess their menu is online if you want to call for takeout
I would definitely go back, the food was fresh, flavorful, served hot, and reasonably priced

Omg my good was sooooo good. Got the green curry chicken and shrimp rolls. Also the sauce for the shrimp rolls….a little left after eating the rolls so I drank it.

Understand first I am a Vietnam era veteran and love their Thai Teas. Oh yeah! But, if your not open minded to this type of food you may not like it. Open minded you will more than like it. To me, it’s not “spicy” as one might think but does not take way from the experience. A small space but has never lacked seating inside. I would advise people to try it. Do not believe anyone who says, “Monkey..” that would be a lie. Pure beef, pork and chicken with no indegestion after eating any time I’ve been there. The food, to me is great.

Very glad to find this little place in Athens, Tennessee. Service was fast and friendly. It has a slightly limited menu, but very good food. We got level one on spicy, and it was about a spicy as I can enjoy (and I like it spicy). I have no complaints about this place. The only reason I gave it a three on atmosphere is because it’s very small and in a strip mall. It was pleasant and clean and the bathroom was clean.

The food was hot, fresh, and fairly priced. However, the drunken noodles and pad Thai noodles were both very dry and really overcooked & mushy.
The flavor was good and if the noodles weren’t so overcooked and had more sauce it had the potential to be a great meal. I also had to call a couple times to get them to answer the phone to place an order.
