I have eaten here a few times since I found the place a little over a year ago. Tonight was a great experience, as always. The food is delicious, the staff is always efficient and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. I tried the mango rice dessert and was skeptical about it…was Not disappointed! I love this Thai place The food is always good and they’re always friendly. The portions are great especially for lunch. I’ve been coming here for years and they are pretty consistent. My favorite dishes are pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles, & chicken satay. The Walnut chicken is also delicious. And I love the glass noodle soup as well!

Extraordinary! I highly recommend the Thai House to anyone in the Smithtown, NY area. The food is very authentic as the chef is native to Thailand, the service is phenomenal- everyone is treated as if they are the only guest at the restaurant. The location is very convenient, right on Main Street. The Thai House offers a great lunch menu with very good prices- their dinner menu is excellent as well. The food is rather diverse and caters to many different palates. The restaurant itself is very clean and well decorated. I highly recommend their dessert menu! When we went, the waitress took her time to explain the menu, the food and learned about us so she could provide a recommendation. If you are looking for an authentic Thai restaurant with awesome staff- this is the place for you!

Very average food, not bad but unfortunately not very flavorful. The vegetables and tofu were really fresh but could have used more sauce. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Don’t try the Thai iced coffee, tastes very burnt and not like most Thai iced coffees. Spring rolls are amazing though.

The Thai House is on Main Street and well located. It’s very clean and was well lit when we went. We had dinner on a weekday evening. The server was very pleasant and repeated the order to confirm it. Food and drink were provided timely.

I visit this restaurant for the first time, because I wanted to travel to Thailand in my mind by eating pure authentic Thai Food. Indeed I am more than than happy to visit this place. Because the service is impacablely standard to 5 star’s restaurant. Actually the chef is walking around to make sure that everything is okay and every guest have the best experience of their life by dining at this place. First, let me say, I totally understand that people make mistakes. How they handle those mistakes, determines the outcome. We ordered the vegan lettuce wraps and they served us the chicken lettuce wraps. We didn’t realize this until we had a few wraps. We had told them that we were vegan. We asked if the other dishes we ordered were vegan just to make sure and we were told they were. They, then, served us another dish with fish sauce. The waitress acted like it was no big deal while my daughter was in tears. We asked to speak to a manager. The manager didn’t really care that she served animal products to vegans who hadn’t eaten meat in years. She just wanted to bring us another dish like it was no big deal. I asked the manager if the second dish had fish sauce. We had already asked the waitress to make sure it was vegan after they served us the chicken but it definitely contained fish. The manager told me the second dish was vegan. I asked her if their was fish in the sauce to which she replied she didn’t know because they use a pre-made sauce. I asked her why she would tell customers that the dish was vegan when she wasn’t sure if the sauce contained fish. I have been served non-vegan items before at restaurants but was much less upset because it was handled properly. How this restaurant handled it made me lose faith in their ability to ensure that what we were being told was vegan actually was. What would have happened had this been a nut allergy and someone got really sick or died. We will not be back again.

Used to order from them like once a week and recently ordered a lunch item from their online menu. Came home and knew something was not right when I looked at my meal but was starving so dove in. The order was definitely wrong and happened to be something with orange (which I hate) but when I looked at my receipt the item number on it correct. When I called in to say my order was not right I was told, “oh I meant to mention to you that we changed all our internal item numbers but haven’t had the opportunity to change the site yet, you should have confirmed the actual item you wanted not using the number”. That was it, it was my fault I didn’t know the website was inaccurate, no credit or at least offer for a discount next time I order. Just beware of you are ordering a lunch item from their site, it may not be what you get.
