Really excellent flavor and presentation at an affordable price- great lunch specials. We got green curry and basil sauce beef. Green curry sauce has great aromatics with kaffir lime leaf flavor distinct in flavors and basil. Really sweet servers and cute decor

Duck lunch special was pretty good! The crispy pork unfortunately way too salty. Thai ice tea was good. Would totally come again!

Cute little place, quick service, had a drink on the menu that I haven’t seen in a long time! Had their pad Thai and was very delicious, friendly staff, yummy food, must stop in if you’re craving thai.

Thai Hot Box is a hidden gem in Manhattan that serves up some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. But what truly sets Thai Hot Box apart is their Tom Kha dish. It was a masterpiece of flavors – the rich and creamy coconut broth, paired with tender chicken and the perfect amount of spice, was simply unforgettable. Every spoonful was a delightful explosion of taste and left me wanting more. I highly recommend the Tom Kha to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Thai experience in Manhattan. Overall, Thai Hot Box is a must-visit for anyone who loves Thai cuisine and is looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Decent menu and customer service. Prices and portion are good. None of the proteins are marinated so it’s a tad bland. Ordered a item for $12 she then says it’s $14 then returns to say they don’t have it. Adjust the menu so it doesn’t appear like you’re adjusting the price subjectively. Small quaint spot but clean and overall ok experience; could possibly return.

Had to be in the area for something else after dinner so looked up this place. Surprised pleasantly for the upper east side! Small, no frills place with quality close to the Thai food you find in Queens, focus on food, not so much drinks. Clearly a popular place, was very busy We were there at 7pm and got bar seating as all the tables were busy. We had the pork larb & chicken drunken noodles – both were excellent.
