I ordered the pad kee mao with chicken (2*). I also ordered the fresh spring rolls (2*). The person taking the order Juan according to the receipt was disaffected, disengaged, and unhelpful. There was no line nor were there people waiting when I stepped up to order. I asked if the Pad Kee Mao was spicy, like it is supposed to be, and he said he didn’t know, but he would ask the kitchen to make it spicy. I ordered the spring rolls which supposedly would have shrimp in them with a sauce. I asked for it to go. I paid and was told to wait in the pick up area (6 feet away).
It was a chaotic mess between the cooks and the pick up area. When you tried to ask a question, no one would respond. They were speaking Spanish, so I switched to Spanish. They looked at me surprised that a white guy was speaking Spanish. All of a sudden, they were responsive. I asked for spicy sauce. Service was very poor as described. When I asked for my bag to carry my food to go, the guy looked at me and threw me a plastic bag. Really?
I left and walked to my hotel room to enjoy. The pad was flavorless, no spice, no chicken, just noodles, a bell pepper, two small pieces of broccoli, and sauce. No meat. No tofu. Nothing more. The spring rolls were falling apart. Very poorly wrapped and almost exclusively cabbage. No meat, no shrimp, just veggies. The sauce was peanut like but so watered down that it didn’t even coat the rolls.
The ambiance was nice. That is due to the food hall and has nothing to do with this restaurant. I would NOT return.

I ordered the panang curry and the flavor was honestly good and veggies were yummy but like everyone said in the reviews, the chicken that came with it was very processed. Why call it “fresh” when it’s not?? That really brought the whole meal down for me. If it was a veggie dish, it’s way better, but yeah, unfortunately I they used really nasty chicken. Service was fine and the vibe is fine cuz obviously it’s the food hall haha

I got the pad see ew which is always my favorite Thai dish. It was good, but it was pretty greasy and the chicken was kinda stringy. My friend got the brisket fried rice and it was alright, however I’ll warn the brisket taste is very over powering and it was also greasy.
Service was fast and the food court was packed. Prices were not bad for downtown.

Thai Esane is a cool spot inside the food hall in downtown Nashville. The food hall has tons of options, but I chose Thai Esane for some tasty Thai food. Even though it was super busy, my red curry with chicken and rice came out pretty fast. The food was delicious, and I was really happy with the quality. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy your meal, which is great. If you like Thai food, I definitely recommend checking out Thai Esane. I was pleasantly surprised!

I ordered the fried orange chicken. Probably the driest flavorless chicken I’ve had. Tasted like nothing, Panda Express does better. The broccoli was way undercooked and the sauce was extremely watery. Flavorless. I’m surprised because it was very pricey! Service was fast, but the food not good. Feel like for the price the quality should be way better.

Delicious food! They know how to get the right amount of spice! Im from MN and a #4 spice is lame but Thai Esane gets it right. Owner/bartender/server Nina is so personable. Love this place

Had a great experience! We came from CA for a bachelorette and I chose Thai Esane. Ordered the Pad Thai and it was flavorful. I added some chili oil for that perfect level of spice. Others in our party ordered the drunken noodles and lo mein and also had good things to say. Not sure if they changed things up, but we were satisfied!

If I had purchased a microwave meal from the frozen isle of the grocery store, I would not have been able to tell the difference. I ordered stir fried veggies with chicken and fresh rolls. Chicken was dry. Veggies were sitting in a soggy sauce. The only thing the fresh rolls had in them was chopped iceberg lettuce and a few pieces of shrimp. This food was actually gross. I ate it because I paid almost $30! Service was rude on top of that. There are tons of options at the Assembly Food Hall. Pick something else and save your stomach the indigestion.

Pad Thai had no flavor at all aside from the lime juice I had to use Herculean strength to squeeze on. The noodles were soggy and chicken was spongy (see pic). The chicken tasted like the kind you’d get in a prepackaged salad. Also ordered this during happy hour that’s posted everywhere in the food hall that leads to a link advertising that this would be $10 but I was charged full price, which would be fine if it actually tasted good! Hate to be bashing a local business but it’s a red flag when a Thai place can’t do pad Thai.
