Thai E San

If this is your first time eating at Thai ESan get a simple Thai yellow curry. If it’s your first time eating Thai food, always tell your waiter or waitress how spicy you want your curry. The best types of Thai food are all over the board with spices, but it’s best to start mild. Not everyone can handle ultra-hot, which most Thai foods are. Choose wisely when you get a Thai dish recommendation, if it’s your first time eating Thai.

We came here after Fayetteville Pride and quickly realized, this was a great choice. I ordered the Garlic Stir Fry while my partner ordered a Pho dish. Mine was wonderful and my partner said hers was wonderful.

Thai E Shan is a clean and friendly place and great service. The first thing I noticed was the pictures of the menu! I love that you can see what your getting and much easier to order. The food I ordered was delicious and will definitely get again! I like how they add healthy like vegetables on the side. I was trying to go to Bucks of Asia but they are closed on Mondays, so I went to Thai E San. I will definitely be back to order some delicious food!(:

I love this family-run spot. Really friendly staff. You can feel the love they put into their food – big portions, authentic, and very good at making dishes gluten free upon request. Feels like you’re eating at a friend’s house. Can’t recommend it enough!

The establishment was clean. The food was very hot, tasty and fresh. The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Saturday although the carry out was constant. The service was impeccable.

You will NOT find a better Thai place around. The owner is an actual saint and SO NICE! This was my very first restaurant I went too when I moved here and I will always come back at least once a month (quite often more than that!) Come here for lunch and get the L7 curry special, so much food and such a great deal! I legit can not explain how nice of a small business this is and I want to see it flourish!!

My husband and I only had to go here once to fall in love with the food and the absolute best service! We try to make it a weekly dinner spot and our goal is to take as many people as we can to eat here. My husband lived in Thailand for a time and says that the food here is some of the most authentic in Fayetteville. We have even catered food for an event with international students at the university and they all raved about how good it was. 10/10 recommend coming here regularly!

I have been eating Thai food at various places in Fayetteville for over 20 years. Thai E San has become my top choice over the last couple years. The food is always fresh, the owner is super friendly and accommodating and the food is fantastic. I try to eat here once a week if possible. Give it a shot! Highly recommend.

While I was landscaping a few years back, my boss and I ended up on college a lot during the lunch hour. We frequently ate at La Huerta and Slims, but one day decided to give Taiwanese a shot. After our first time trying Thai E San, we rarely went anywhere else. I myself had never had Taiwanese food, and ended up quickly finding out how flavorful and rich the food is. They incorporate many spices and hand-made recipes to deliver some of the best tasting food I have ever had. Their Pineapple Fried Rice with fried Tofu is hands-down the best rice I have ever eaten, and their Cream Cheese Wontons, their Larb, and their miso soup are all uniquely delicious. This is a place that I recommend to everyone that enjoys genuine asian cuisine and rich flavors. Unsurprisingly, the people I recommend this place to usually thank me and tell me how much they loved it. The staff are always extremely kind, and if you ever have any questions about the menu they have pictures at the front desk with each dish labeled so you know exactly what you’re ordering. This place knocks it out of the park every time I call in an order, and if I did not taste the authenticity every time I ate their food, I would not make it a point to drive an hour round trip at least once a week just to get a meal there. This will always be one of my favorite restaurants of all time. Five stars.

This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had! I have yet to try a dish that I didn’t like. From the Thai Basil Egg Rolls and regular Egg Rolls to the Pad Thai, curries, and everything in between it’s all delicious. It’s also family owned and provides great service. If you haven’t tried this place yet you’re missing out.
