My husband and I went to Thai Devine yesterday. We live about an hour away, but were in Anderson for the day. My husband and I are foodies so we looked into the local restaurants and decided we’d go to Thai Divine after our appointment.
They are closed daily from 3:00-4:00pm so we had about an hour wait after our appointment. It was SOO worth the wait!
The restaurant itself was beautiful. Very clean, lots of natural light, with a touch of elegance. The staff was attentive and very friendly.
We got the shrimp blankets appetizer which was fantastic – loved the dipping sauce. My husband and I both got the Thai Spicy Basil. Hubby got his with pork, I got mine with chicken and I also opted for the fried rice instead of white rice. We both got ours hot which was just the right amount of spiciness. This dish was FABULOUS! And it was a lot of food. We both took some home with us.
I got the sweet thai iced tea and he got the sweet thai iced coffee. These were a first for both of us, and we were so delighted with them. So delicious! I loved the decorative straw toppers they came with – I kept them as a momento.
We were too full for desert, but we got sweet sticky rice with thai custard to go. Sorry, no picture. It was really good – I’m sure it would have been even better if we had eaten it at the restaurant.
All in all, it was such a great experience. We loved the food, the restaurant itself, the atmosphere, the staff, and their service. It was the perfect ending to our trip to Anderson.
We can’t wait to go back to Thai Devine again. 🙂

Really great pad Thai! My wife had the chicken and I had the shrimp. Also we had a fish patties appetizer and enjoyed it too. If you’re in the area you should eat here. There were a lot of other foods & soups on the menu I’d like to try. Portions were generous and I love leftovers!

Loved, loved, loved our dinners. We both live Thai food. This is honestly the best Thai we’ve had in America. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and they know how to handle spice levels for Americans. Gracious staff, lovely atmosphere, and fantastic food. Can’t recommend Thai Divine enough.

Very clean, newer restaurant with bright cheery decor. We ordered off the dinner menu on a Saturday afternoon because the lunch specials are only for Monday-Friday. We had the Pad Thai with chicken and extra vegetables and the Panang seafood curry with fried rice. The medium spice level was more like a mild spice but we both enjoyed our food very much. There were plenty of veggies in the extra veggies Pad Thai just like I had hoped. It had a good flavor and the plate was huge! I’ll have a complete other meal from it. The Panang curry was delicious and had several large fresh mussels along with plenty of other seafood. The fried rice was pretty mild and could’ve used more flavor. Our server was very attentive and the other servers worked together to keep our drinks filled. It wasn’t super busy while we were there, but there was a steady flow of customers.
There are plenty of choices for a vegetarian as most of the dishes can be ordered without meat.

Pumpkin Curry was amazing. The red curry with a medium spice allowed for an amazing flavor for the chunks of fresh pumpkin, chicken, shrimp, bell pepper, green beans, carrots, tomatoes and basil leaves.

My first time here and it’s been awhile since I’ve had somebody to join me for Thai food. The service was excellent and attentive! The facility is beautifully and artistically decorated; I would have enjoyed seeing a few pieces closer but new guests arrived. Everyone in my dinner party tried something different and we ordered appetizers to try a few be foods. Everything was served hot, incredibly fresh, the spice levels were perfect, and we did not wait long for the kitchen. The calamari was served with a complimentary sauce that was very good. The Tom Yum had a great balance of lemongrass with the soup base. All of the noodles and rice ordered were cooked correctly and tasted wonderful. The duck soup, a special menu item, was a huge portion and while she had to take extra home, she enjoyed it (first time trying duck). Looking forward to returning here!
