Such a wonderful small, family-run restaurant in Seymour, bringing Thai, Lao, and Southeast Asian flavors to the Naugatuck Valley. My friend Phil and I payed the place a visit and we were overwhelmed with the delicious food choices accompanied by a very warm and welcoming service. We started with a chicken wings appetizer that was probably the best we ever had, so crispy and crunchy spectacular flavored with your choice of sause on the side (to preserve the crunchiness). I had the Drunken noodles with shrimps so yummy and generous portion, while Phil ordered the seafood Pad See Ew, which was his 2nd time ordering it. The versatile menu offers so many enticing dishes I’m sure to try on my next upcoming visits. This hidden gem is not to be missed!

Absolutely, unbelievably delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and ambience and wonderful, friendly staff. I just moved to the area and feel so lucky to be able to frequent Thai Dish. The pineapple fried rice is my favorite but every time I go there and get something new, I enjoy that just as much so it’s hard to say for sure. I’ve been doing takeout, but can’t wait to finish getting my place together so I could go in and sit down for dine in!

The food is delicious, we came from NYC just to explore new places, we found a cozy, family location. The taste is a wow factor. Wifey and I are definetely coming back on the Harley for summer in a group. The spicy basil fried was amazing.

Wait, what? The food was unbelievable. Absolutely AMAZING! I had basil fried rice with chicken, edamame beans & my boyfriend had pad kra pao. We loved them both. The prices are very fair & the portions are aplenty. Is this under new management? If so, BRAVO! Next I want to try the yellow curry chicken. Thank you for the great food.

We were in the mood for Thai food last night. So, I opened up Google maps and typed in Thai food and lo and behold this place popped up in Seymour, about 10 minutes from my home. I have to say it was a nice surprise for both of us. I didn’t know this restaurant existed. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner. He takes care of the dining room and his wife, her friend, and their son do all the cooking in the kitchen. It’s a nice family run operation. We started out with two appetizers, the chicken satay, and the Thai spring rolls. Both were very good and very flavorful. For our entrées, my partner had the red curry with chicken and I had the yellow curry with chicken. We also shared the drunken noodles with chicken that we later found out was prepared by their son. It was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Both of these were excellent! The portions were huge! We decided to try something different for dessert, it was highly recommended by the owner so we opted for coconut and sweet pumpkin tapioca, it consisted of pumpkin, taro, and coconut milk with tapioca pearls and was served warm. It had just enough sweetness to satisfy the sugar craving after dinner. If you’re looking for good homemade Thai food this is the next place that you want to go. We also noticed that they do a lot of takeout.

The owners are wonderful and very kind people and their food is top notch. Food is delicious and very fairly priced. Would strongly recommend for dine-in or take-out. They have their own app with generous deals. A staple of Seymour

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever left a review like this. The food is very good, and the owner is very friendly. The problem is, he is a bit too friendly; talking non-stop while I tried to eat. At first it was great to make conversation and enjoy the vibe, but then it felt like an obligation to respond while I was trying to enjoy my dinner, engaging in conversation about stuff that was moreso related to him and not so much about a mutual interest. It was just a lot. I don’t ever want to knock someone for being too nice, but, especially while customers are trying to dine, there is a time and place. Contrarily, while going through reviews of this business, I came across one that got my attention. It was one in which the other owner (I believe it is the first owner’s son) was beyond unprofessional to a customer. It’s not really my business, and to be honest, I think the customer was very in the wrong in the scenario. They said they ordered food online/over the phone and paid, but had ordered from the wrong restaurant, excusing themselves as elderly and wanted a refund. The owner did not oblige, nor do I think he should have to in an instance where a customer doesn’t make sure they’re ordering from the right place, costing a small business time and resources. Regardless of if they gave the refund or not, the owner’s reply to the review showed quite a level of snarkiness and disregard towards a potential customer that is totally uncalled for (mostly at the end of the reply.) Being in customer service can be extremely wearing sometimes, but you cannot meet an angry customer’s attitude with that same tone. He had a very good opportunity to state his side in a professional manner, but really dropped the ball to make sure the customer was put down. I love supporting small businesses, and this place has amazing food, but the two owners need to check themselves, mostly the son for his poor attitude. Makes it very hard to want to go back and dining in seems out of the question if you just want to relax and do your own thing. Again, the food is delicious.
