Thai Dish, on the first floor of the Babcock Tower in Boston, is one of three Thai restaurants in the immediate area, but we liked the more traditional style and laid back atmosphere of this one more than the others which were right on the very busy Commonwealth Avenue. Service was very friendly, and while you do have to place your order at the service counter, the server will bring your food to the table when it’s ready. Keep that in mind; we sat at the table for a short time before realizing that no one was coming over. Drinks are available in a fridge near the service counter. We started with a side of Samosa. I had a delicious Pad Thai with Pork and my lady enjoyed her sizable and tasty bowl of Duck Noodles soup. Everything was brought to us in a timely manner and was quite enjoyable. We felt that the prices were somewhat lower, and therefore the value for what you got was higher, than what you might see in comparable nearby locations. Very much recommended.

I got rib bbq bowl and thai iced tea!. The food is delicious, quick and reasonably priced. The staff are incredibly kind with excellent service. Totally worth it! I would say It’s a hidden gem near BU’s West Campus, just steps from Babcock train station. Super convenient and worth the price.

Great value for money here. We ordered the Beef Noodle Soup and the Pad Thai with Crispy Chicken. Both dishes were great, and we’ll likely order those again when we go back. The serving size was just right. The Thai milk tea wasn’t bad either! Highly recommend this for a quick meal.
They have a restroom for patrons, and there’s plenty of paid street parking right outside.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The waitress was super friendly, patient, and happy to explain every dish.
The food… just AMAZING perfectly seasoned, hot, fresh, and ready in less than 10 minutes!
Their peanut sauce is absolutely perfect
You can really feel the care they put into everything.
And to top it off, I even got a free drink for orders over $20!

Initially I really appreciate all folks working their.. we went into restaurant around closing time but they still accepted our order and served food. Also they waited until we completed appetizers and asked if we want to order more, by that time it already passed 10 pm.
We are stunned by their hospitality.. they are wonderful people..
The food is delicious..
We started with kra tong thong, ginger garlic chicken which are new and I recommend them.
Fried rice cooked perfect..
Don’t forget to order fried ice cream..

I stopped at Thai Dish for lunch today. Very small place just off Commonwealth Avenue. Extensive menu, you order at the counter for sit-down or take-out. I ate by the window (I was the only customer at that hour)
I began with a generous bowl of the Tom Kha Gai Soup, slices of chicken with mushrooms in light coconut milk flavored with galangal, chilies and lime $4.25. The unique flavors of the galanga and lime combined with the slightly sweet coconut milk make this soup one of my favorites.
Then I had the Pickpow bowl with choice of meat (my choice a chicken) slightly spicy, delicious sautéed with chili sauce with mushrooms, carrots, red peppers, scallions, and baby corn. $10. Served with a huge bowl of white rice. The portion as large and I took half home.
The food was so good I wanted to try their Chicken Pad Thai. I took one order to go. Rice noodles stir fried with tamarind sauce, fish sauce, egg scallion. $9.25
The place is immaculate, the staff very friendly and accommodating. And be sure to visit the Super 88 Hong Kong Asian Market right around the corner after your meal!

It was good for the price. I wouldn’t say it was the most amazing Thai food but worth a shot. Honestly I remember an explosion of flavors with a mix of freshness and spices while eating Thai in Thailand, whereas here, felt bland. Sorry. Maybe it was just my dish because I took a vegetarian pad thai without fish sauce.

The service here was friendly and quite fast for there only being one waiter when I went. I’d definitely like to come again; the prices were quite reasonable, and the pad see-ew with vegetables was amazing. It was flavorful, and the rice noodles in it were the perfect texture. If you ordered a drink, the straws would come with a cute flower in top made with the straw wrapper.
