Absolutely loved this authentic Thai restaurant! The food is out of this world, every dish was bursting with flavor and truly authentic. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. On top of that, the service was fantastic, warm, welcoming, and attentive. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Thai cuisine or a newcomer, this place is a must-visit!
I’ve tried a bunch of Thai restaurants in Salt Lake, and have not found any that compared to this! I have been disappointed by many other others, but this is always a solid choice and experience.

I’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants all over the country and this hole in the wall gem holds a solid spot at the top of my list. Everything I have had there has always been absolutely delicious. My favorite is the Tom Kha Gai. It is the standard by which I judge all other Thai restaurants. The neighborhood is a tad sketchy, but so worth going to for the tasty food. I’ve been here countless times and will continue going back as long as they keep the same recipes. The place was actually owned by a different family who sold it to their cooks when they wanted to retire. They kept the same recipes. I am so glad for that!

Best Wonton Soup. I dont know how good the Thai is since I have only had a few Thai places (in Utah, Seattle has way better food) but it is definitely better than Thai 101 in Salt Lake. Not that that place isnt good, but thier soup didn’t even come close, and the Panang also wasn’t as good as Thai Delight. Maybe it needed more spice because Thai 101 didn’t even ask me if I wanted it spicy or how spicy. Even on the Wonton soup they ask you how spicy you would like it at Thai Delight. I love the soup the way it is but maybe one day I will try some spicy wonton soup. They also have pretty good wings and my wife likes the orange chicken there. Its very different than Chinese orange chicken so don’t expect the same style as a Chinese food place, but differentin a good way. We got there whenever we have a chance. I dont have any pictures but I will take some next time. They also recently put in HUGE tables. I am guessing you could fit 12 people on some of them.

This is yet another good Thai place in the valley.
I ordered the Pad Thai, spice level 3, mixed meat. This Pad Thai stands out in that the noodles are darker in color. Besides that, it was cooked well and possessed quite a bit of semi-sweet flavor!
The cream cheese dumplings here were also very good! They were very crispy and had a nice soft interior.
However, the spice levels offered here are whitewashed compared to other Thai places I have had (Nuan’s Thai kitchen & Tea Rose Diner to name a couple). Spice level 3 out of 5 here was enough for me to feel the heat and peppery flavors a little bit, but not nearly enough to burn my mouth. At Tea Rose, you can see the difference in color when one goes up to spice level 2 from 1, let alone level 3. Level 3 at that place is mace for the mouth!
All that said, Thai Delight is still very much a Delight, but not my first pick for Thai food.

Very good. My wife is terrified of spicy, so we got everything level 1 (of 5). She wished we had asked for 2.
Most items are gluten free.

Best Thai food! I’ve tried to venture out and always come back here. The coconut soup is a favorite, always level 5 spice. the food and drinks are both yummy. The staff are nice, good atmosphere overall, and just never disappoints. Also fair priced.

Great service, even better food. Had the Pad Thai and portions were very generous. Went 4 of 5 on the spice level and it was perfect (as a white guy) lol. Definitely recommend!

I had a good experience here tonight. They offer a quality product. They offer a lot of options on their menu. I like their Curry Dish, yet I’ve had better at other Thia restaurants. Only complaint is that they only sell soda from a can instead of a fountain drink which means no free refills and that’s one thing I look for, since just about every other restaurant does that (otherwise – 5 star rating). Overall I liked it here.

The atmosphere here was beautiful and reminiscent of Thailand. The food was also really tasty. I had the yellow curry at a level 2 spice. It was creamy and good, but I think the spices drowned out the yummy coconutty flavor just a little bit. Maybe a level 1 spice would have been better. I also wish they would give more rice as it doesn’t cover all of the soup. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly. Will definitely be back to try more of their delicious food!

Pad Thai (4/5) very saucy, needs a little more char on the noodles
Chili wings (4/5) crispy and good sweet chili dipping sauce
Yellow curry (5/5) nearly perfect creamy spicy
