My partner and I decided to try something new, and stopped in! It’s quiet, relaxing, and soothing in here. The service we received was excellent! They were able to answer any allergy and dietary questions we had. I was even assured that there was no meat in my dish when it was brought to the table.
The coffee and Thai tea are superb! So delicious!!! ☕️ My partner got the wonton soup, and I got the pumpkin curry with jasmine rice. Both are amazing!

I absolutely love the Thai restaurant for its incredible tofu Pad Thai, always prepared to perfection. The combination of delicately cooked rice noodles with fresh vegetables and soft tofu is simply delicious.
As a vegetarian, I appreciate the varied and flavorful options Thai Dara offers.
It’s definitely a place that has won my heart and always makes me want to come back for more!

I did a Pad Thai take out order of roughly $17. I did not leave a tip. This morning, I received a notification from CapitalOne that I left a 50% tip resulting in $27.
I can’t believe the cashier guy/owner self-inserted a $10 tip for my takeout order!

Thai Dara 2 is my favorite Thai restaurant from San Diego to LA. I ordered the mixed sea food pumpkin curry. It came with mussels, shrimp, fish cakes, octopus, pumpkin, bell pepper, and onion with a generous side of rice. Most restaurants would leave the tail shell on the shrimp, but at Thai Dara they take the extra time to remove the shrimp tails, and not the lazy way either, you get the whole shrimp. Abel and the staff are always so friendly and hard working.

Thai Dara 2 is great! I went in today to order takeout for our medical office staff. I noticed a mistake when I picked up my food (likely poor communication on my part), and they fixed it very quickly and kindly. Above 5 stars on service! The food is fresh and delicious. The lunch specials are priced very well and are big portions. There are options for everyone’s dietary restrictions, too, which is so great to find.
The interior of the restaurant is cozy and would be a great place for an intimate lunch or dinner.
I’m writing this as I gobble down my delicious pad Thai with shrimp, and I’m also very impressed at how well the food was packaged, it’s still piping hot.

Food is good. Order was wrong but they corrected without a problem because it was their mistake. Thanks so much for being open on Christmas day/night. It was super busy with to-go orders and also for dine in but that’s okay. This restaurant is nice and they did their very best.

This was the worst pickup experience I’ve ever had. There was nobody in the restaurant but they couldn’t find my order in their app and almost argued with me to say I was wrong, despite showing them the DoorDash confirmation. When the finally cooked my order, it was incomplete and I had to return to the restaurant to tell them of the missing food. They cooked it, and served it. No apology, or acknowledgment. Ridiculous customer service
