Worst drunken noodles I’ve ever seen. The noodles were completely white, dry, and all stuck together. It’s like they boiled them, put them in the plate and forgot to add any type of sauce or flavor. Drunken noodles usually have a rich, flavorful dark sauce. When I called in they said well since you ordered mild, that might be why and im busy and hung up on me. The chile spice level should have nothing to do with flavor. If you want good drunken noodles, go to krung thai. So disappointing.

Always great food coming out of this small Thai restaurant. This place moves a ton of take out and it has a relatively small dining room, so it’s not always a great place to go with a lot of people unless you call ahead. The lunch menu is amazing and has some great deals. The kitchen does a great job and I feel like the food comes out quite fast. They have a range of good bottled beers.

Khao soi here is basically a spicy yellow curry with noodles. One of the best Thai dishes, and after you try it, you’ll be hooked.
Pad Thai is good here, I would recommend a 3 spicy level to those that like spicy but want other flavors.

One of the more premier quality Thai restaurants in a city brimming with Southwestern charm, this unassuming gem stands out for its authenticity and dedication to tradition. Tucked away along historic Route 66 in Albuquerque, this restaurant exudes an intimate, almost familial warmth, where every dish feels personal, crafted with care and a deep respect for heritage.

The space is cozy, offering an atmosphere that feels more like stepping into someone’s home than a typical eatery. Each dish is a reflection of the chef’s unwavering pride, from the intricate layering of flavors to the careful presentation. Every bite tells a story—of time-honored techniques and ingredients that have been lovingly perfected over decades.

During one visit, we had the pleasure of speaking with the head chef, a man whose passion for his craft is palpable. When we inquired about his Pad Thai recipe and how long it took to refine, he humbly smiled and said, “My whole life.” It was a response that resonated deeply, encapsulating not just the dish but the very spirit of the restaurant itself.

It’s no wonder we keep returning—this place is a rare find in a city known for its vibrant culinary scene. Every meal feels like a journey, and while the space is intimate, the flavors are anything but small. Simply put, it’s one of Albuquerque’s finest, and we’re grateful to have it in our regular rotation.

This is an awful, dirty restaurant. I’ve tried it twice now, about a year apart, in hopes that the first time was just a bad night for them. It was not.

The restaurant is open seating, but there are no signs telling patrons this, so people will come in and stand around, like we did, until the single server notices them and tells them they can grab a seat anywhere.

There are six tables that seat four people and one table that seats two. There are also four barstools along the bar for a total of thirty seats. There are no stairs into the venue so patrons in wheelchairs or with mobility issues will be fine accessibility-wise.

The menus were sticky, the tables were sticky, our glasses were dirty with lipstick that hadn’t been fully washed off, and the place had an overall grimy feel.

I had the yellow curry fried rice, which was somehow both sour and extremely bland. The curry spice was what tasted sour; I haven’t had any like it before and was thinking perhaps the spice went bad. The entree as a whole was very unappetizing. My companion ordered the pineapple fried rice and said he’d give his 1 star because it was extremely bland as well. The sodas we ordered were passed to us in a can with a cup of ice.

The restaurant had one server for the dining room who was also in charge of busing the tables and coordinating to-go orders. He was friendly, but the owners had done a disservice by only having one staff up front, as he couldn’t keep the place clean.

Having tried this place twice, I’m confident in saying I wouldn’t go back.

I absolutely loved the Pad Thai here! It was absolutely amazing and is a good sized portion. I will definitely be going back for more Pad Thai. I also love yellow curry, so I’ll have to give that a try sometime, but the Pad Thai? Amazing! The spring rolls were also very good, I just wish they would have come with the peanut sauce, the sauce they gave us was pretty good though.

10/10 would recommend this cozy Thai restaurant! Order takeout from the menus available right at the entrance or “seat yourself” as the sign suggests. As you nervously scan the room for a table you will notice there are only about 10 tables to sit at, but don’t take that as a bad note. The close seating created a warm atmosphere that I quite enjoyed! The staff were very prompt in seeing us and taking our order, each wearing genuine smiles. Our food -which included: 2 lunch entrees, 4 egg rolls, and 2 soups- came out piping hot within a few minutes! The portions allowed for 2 doggy bags today, which for someone who is used to being the first one done at the table is a rare occurrence. The cherry on top you ask? Even with a dessert of tapioca pudding and fresh fruit, our bill came out to $25 even with a 25% tip! Customer definitely satisfied! Ending notes? Thai hot= pain, tread lightly when choosing a spicy entree. Also if you sit close to a window, it could be chilly (especially during winter).

My wife spotted this place because she is vegan and the waiter said they can make any dish vegan. She had the Pineapple Fried Rice that she she got without egg and light oil, she really liked it. I got the Teriyaki Fried Rice plus shrimp and it was very good with a large portion.
You can tell they have it in a bowl because it has that upside bowl shape (see my picture).
The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable!
I can easily recommend this place!
And they have take out and I am sure we will be using that service in the future!!

This place needs a modification(fusion) for the name. Green curry pineapple fusion as opposed to savory Green curry….pork. tasted old. More pineapple than veggies. Disappointing. I’d wait til the joint across the street opens up again.

My waitress, who has worked here for the past 7 years or so, is the most efficient waitress I’ve ever met! I ordered massaman Curry and Thai tea. The sauce in the curry was really good, although it was not as hot temperature wise as I would like, and the tofu was reheated and not freshly made. But other than that, good food!
