First time eating here and most of the food was absolutely delicious!
So the dumplings felt store bought and were a little burned, but the Entrees we’re so yummy it was amazing! They were very generous in ingredients and flavor. I don’t live in Alamo, but I want to go back just for the food here.
The atmosphere could use a bit of improvement, but the service was great and everyone was very friendly. Very much recommend.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 – Dinner for Two with Green Curry with pork at mild and Pineapple Fried Rice with pork at mild. The green curry was mostly bamboo shoots and green curry paste. You don’t really get the aroma for the coconut or basil and there was barely any bell peppers. It was very one dimensional flavor that was mostly just spicy. It’s a small portion of curry and TINY portion of rice so we did have to get additional food after.
The fried rice was disappointing as well since it was very salty and the rice was a bit mushy. The pineapple and slices of cucumbers were very necessary to offset the saltiness but it was still overwhelming. Flavor profile was one dimensional again of just salty. The two jar (maraschino) cherry was a bit confusing and didn’t fit the dish.
The Appetizer Sampler: the vegetarian spring roll was decent with a nice fry on the outside and packed with veggies on the inside. Not much flavor by itself, but there are multiple sauces you can try with and the texture was good. The chicken wings were very salty on the outside and dry on the inside. The fried wontons with pork filling…. Well, the sampler doesn’t specifically say so it could be just fried empty wontons since that’s what we think we got. One of the pieces had a tiny piece of protein but the others were empty. It was also fried to death
Ambience: n/a – ordered food to go. The front door has an obnoxious buzz that goes off ever time it opens. While the decorations are themed, the restaurant does feel messy as there are things everywhere. The restaurant does seem older as there are water stains on the ceiling tile and very harsh white light. A TV was in the corner with a sports game on but no music
Service: 5/5 – she was super nice and friendly and gave us multiple recommendations on what to get. She was attentive while she dealt with multiple customers and a pick up order at the same time
Value for price: 1/5 – First, the menu on their website is out of date so add $2-4 for every dish. Bad and expensive food makes this a no go for us

Not your typical amazing Bay Area Thai food but still pretty good. A quick note for vegetarians and vegans – all their curries have fish sauce in them which they thankfully let us know but only after asking the server. We ended up ordering Pad Kee Mao and Cashew Tofu minus the eggs to keep it vegan.

Food is good but…
The last two times we have ordered to go they have given us two different size containers for the curry without any sort of explanation. Why is one curry half the size of the other, yet costs the same? Other people I have talked to seemingly haven’t had this issue yet so they are definitely providing incredibly inconsistent portions. If it’s going to be a gamble if we get what we paid for or not we will probably just stop going here.

I ordered the Shrimp Pas Thai. I haven’t had Pad Thai this good in a long time. The Sticky rice with mango was also very good. Definitely gotta try this place!

Authentic Thai atmosphere for USA. Lots of variety of dishes. Thai tea is awesome and comes with a cherry and umbrella. Service was friendly and always made sure we were good. Will visit again.

Sadly, I disappointed with my meal. Ordered yellow curry and what I received was not the yellow curry I have had at other Thai restaurants. The sauce was white, grainy, tasteless and watered down. Mixed it several times with a spoon to make sure. Maybe because I ordered 2 hours before closing.

First two times in past we have gone was very good. We loved it. This time it was awful! My Meat had rank taste, and gravy very watery?, gray color and no flavor. The rice looked dirty and over cooked. My husband’s dish not any better. Honestly it all looked like slop. Sorry, but it was awful and so sad to say, because we had really enjoyed this place before now. What has happened here? Is the real cook gone?
