The Best Thai Restaurants in Austin – Girl Eats World
Reviews
The buffet bar included a variety of appetizers like egg rolls, salad and soup. It was a great addition to the lunch meal. The price for the buffet seems to be factored into the individual menu items.
The restaurant was quite packed on a Saturday and our server was very distracted. We had to constantly wave her over or wait to ask for basic items such as a straw or water.
Basil Fried rice is good. It’s L5 on menu now (previously L4).
Peanut curry the special of fri is also good.
Took visitors to Austin here and they found it spicy but tasty.
If visiting for lunch on weekdays either early like 11:45 or bit later like 12:30 will help you avoid waiting.
Appetizer buffet is hit or miss for vegetarian options. But salad options are always available.
Be sure to try the dessert from the appetizers area. Tapioca is good but sometimes they have purple rice (see photo).
What I also liked was salad and soup as well as some other side dishes and sweet buffet! I really enjoyed the vegetarian soup! To me, that was the best thing out of all the items I tried!
Lunch special is definitely recommended time to go there!
Cheers
Summer rolls, soups and desserts from buffet are super but Chicken teriyaki is not good., thai basil fried rice is average.
The service was friendly and attentive, and our food came out promptly. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a midday meal. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty Thai food in Austin. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on their menu!
This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem for lunch! Their lunch menu is fantastic, with a great selection of flavorful dishes at reasonable prices. The lunch specials are generous, and the portions are just right. The highlight for me was the soup and salad bar—everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of authentic flavors.
It can get a little busy during peak lunch hours, so service might take a bit longer. But overall, this is definitely a go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying Thai lunch!
On the positive side, the staff is professional, friendly, and courteous. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with the option of outdoor seating. Ordering a main course also comes with access to a complimentary appetizer salad bar, offering items such as two kinds of soup, crispy cheese rolls, spring rolls, and more.
The menu and overall setup suggest the restaurant caters more to the lunch crowd—understandable given its proximity to large office complexes like Apple and PayPal—rather than to dinner diners.
If you’re nearby and looking for a quick Thai lunch, this place fits the bill. Otherwise, there are better Thai options elsewhere in town.
