The wings were perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and coated in a rich, savory Thai sauce with crispy fried basil on top that adds a great aroma and texture. They’re bold, well-seasoned, and easily some of the best Thai-style wings I’ve had in Texas.
The fried rice was also very good—well balanced, not greasy, and full of flavor, with generous portions that pair perfectly with the wings. Simple, comforting, and done right.
Great food, consistent quality, and a place I’d gladly come back to—especially for the wings. Highly recommend if you’re in the Bellaire or Houston area and craving Thai food.
I ordered Panang, and the portion was very small (photo attached) especially considering the $16+ price tag. According to the woman working that day, this is their only size, but previously when dining in, portions felt much more reasonable.
The flavor was surprisingly bland for both the Panang and Pad Kee Mao. Even my partner, who is not picky at all, noticed it without me saying anything first.
I had requested that the veggies be chopped smaller when I placed the order by phone, and they said that was doable, but when I opened the container, the request had not been followed.
The spring rolls were another letdown. They were mostly wrapper and oil, with barely any filling, just a few shreds of cabbage or noodle in each one.
I really want to believe this was just an off night, because this spot has been solid before. I’m not sure if I’ll be back soon, but I hope they work on consistency, especially for takeout.
I came in with my 2.5-year-old daughter. We had just sat down and she was in a high chair while I was looking at the menu. Normally I bring stickers or a book to keep her occupied, but I didn’t have them with me this time.
To keep her entertained for a moment, I gave her about six sugar packets from the table (the standard white, pink, and blue ones). She likes the colors and was simply holding them. She had not opened them, spilled anything, or made any kind of mess.
A waitress came by and seemed very concerned that my toddler had the packets. She asked sarcastically if my daughter was going to eat the sugar. I said no, she was just playing with them. I immediately handed back the rest of the box from the table since she clearly seemed worried about them being used.
After I handed them back, she said, “Yeah, she’s not supposed to be playing with them.”
At that point we decided to leave. If a restaurant is going to be this uptight about a toddler quietly holding a few unopened sugar packets while a parent looks at the menu, it’s probably not a place that welcomes families with young children.
