October 2025, Saturday: My husband and I stopped inside the Mequon Public Market and ordered lunch from Thai City Cuisine. We shared the fresh spring rolls, pad see ew, and pad Thai.
Our order was ready in less than 15 minutes and the portions were huge. I’m giving three stars because I love Thai food but didn’t care for either of the dishes we shared. The pad Thai was very oily/wet and not very flavorful and I didn’t like the noodles and sauce in the pad see ew. I prefer the traditional wide rice noodles. I thought both meals were lacking flavor and spice.

Grabbed takeout for the family. All food was excellent. Fresh Spring Rolls, Peanut Curry, Gang Gai and Thai Pho were all perfect. “On Fire” spice level may not be quite as hot as some other 5 star heat ratings I’ve had, but it did the trick. We’ll be back for sure.

I had the Thai Basil fried rice, Chicken pad Thai, and Papaya salad. They are very flavorful and just the perfect spices. They’re very friendly and the service was very fast! Will be coming back more often and recommending friends and families to come try it.

One of our dishes was Pla Tod. The flavor was good however, we were very disappointed by the price point and the amount. For $17.50, the amount of fried catfish pieces was not worth it. When we opened the container, it was mostly carrots and green peppers so I decided to dig through and take out all of the fish just to see how much we actually got. The picture is missing 2 additional pieces of catfish and that’s it. Would NOT get this dish again.
We were also disappointed by the fact that we were dining in, however they didn’t not provide disposable plates to eat from.

I ordered the pad thai medium spice and chicken eggrolls. Both were exceptional and unique. I loved their sweet n sour. I will return and recommend this as one of the best Thai food places in Mequon.

I’m a big Thai food fan and unfortunately have to say that I’m very disappointed with the food quality here. The service was great very friendly staff, however the crab Rangoons weren’t fried long enough as the wonton wrapper was still rubbery, the chicken satay was a little overdone and hard and the tom kha chicken soup was incredibly watered down with random big chunks of tomato which I’ve never seen in any other restaurants tom kha so that was a little weird. Wish it were a better experience but unfortunately won’t be back.
