The employees were very kind and helpful and easy to talk to as I asked questions about the seemingly endless menu.
The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the temperature of the items was good. Food taste good. I did like the Spicy Cheetos sushi roll.
The interior of the location is quite dated with older tables and chairs on tile floors. The walls are covered with menus and pictures of dishes. While making the place look a little cluttered, the pictures are nice to see what the dish looks like.

I love this place, food is incredible, staff is friendly, love everything except they are closed alot. It would be nice when you’re closed if you could put a sign up on when you’ll be open again or post on your website….something to let your customers know! I’ve been trying to visit for about a month and you’re closed.

I really liked this place. They currently don’t have a sushi chef and are training new chefs in general at the moment. When I order curry, it usually comes out in a different container with a sealed lid , not a regular to go box as pictured. Anyhow, I’d like to state that I was one of their last customers of the night and their FOH staff was very nice. I called to tell of my experience and the lady said she’d call the owner and call me back. She called back and stated that since I did not call them right away, (they were closed for the night), and since I didn’t specify how I wanted my food to be packaged – there was nothing they could do. I spent $20+, unfortunate.

I’ve been a long-time customer of Thai City in Portales, and it’s always been one of my favorite spots to grab takeout. We’ve consistently ordered for pickup and always tipped well.
I’m genuinely disappointed by the recent decline in both food quality and customer service. Has management changed? Lately, when we call to place an order, the person answering the phone often forgets we’ve been placed on hold, sometimes for several minutes, and we’ve had to call back just to complete our order.
Worse, the food has changed noticeably. We usually order the same dishes, but the flavor and quality has declined significantly. Who puts tomatoes in Pad Thai?????

The staff is so nice and kind but the chef must’ve been off the evening I was there. I ordered a vegetable curry with tofu asked for extra vegetables. When I got it home, well the picture speaks for itself. A few chunks of fried tofu and even fewer veggies that had obviously been pulled out of a bag of frozen vegetables. The curry sauce was tasty there just weren’t any vegetables in my vegetable dish

Decent thai restaurant. Their crab cheese wontons were good but the wonton soup and panang curry were too salty. Pad see ew were great ! Thai tea and coffee were yummy ! Service is just alright.
