Food was ok… I ordered: crispy tofu, (which was good), vegetable and tofu soup (broth was good, but there was no tofu and the veggies weren’t cooked), and vegetable pad thai with tofu, (I did not get any tofu, and the veggies were not cooked, the noodles were cooked and flavored nicely).
Service was ok, I received app, soup, and entree at the same time, soda came in a can with a glass of ice to pour it in, and waitress checked on me once.
Total bill was $28+ tip.
Edit four years later: I think it’s worth mentioning that we order takeout from Thai Chilli at least once or twice a month! Their curry is naturally gluten free and safe for those with allergies. I can never pass up adding the crispy Thai rolls to my order… but sadly the sauce included has at least halved in volume lately. I can finish it all off on one of my rolls. 5 -> 4 stars.
It’s tricky to remember which restaurants offer rice included with entrees that are typically served with rice and which restaurants don’t (like this one).
It might help to remind customers to pick a type of starch at the earlier- when the entree is chosen. Especially if someone is ordering online “for a crowd”, individuals who order entrees and don’t include their side of rice have to then be circled back to “did you intend to have rice with that?” … its just more work for everyone to circle back. Either include a choice of starch and increase the price of the entree or prompt buyers to select their starch when they pick these types of entrees on menufy (this is still more effort for the TC employee taking a phone order; they’d have to remember to remind the customer)
1. take out experience was horrible. four people ordered, no one liked their food. the establishment doesn’t tell you that curry dishes don’t come with rice. but dine in customers get rice! why? the chicken on the pad thai also was burnt and tasted bad
2. dine in experience was subpar because i couldn’t ignore all the dust and cobwebs next to us, above us, etc. sat on the chair and it was so uncomfortable like something was poking my behind. turns out the chair was ripped and the establishment just put some electrical tape on it. asked for a new one. same problem. wanted to get out then but we were so hungry we ordered anyway
normally i never write bad reviews but things tip me over the edge over time
