When I asked which noodle dish he recommended, he suggested the drunken noodle. I think he was trying to play it safe and the dish was good, but it did not really excite me. The presentation was beautiful and the service was genuinely great, so I appreciated that. I just found myself wishing there were more options to explore.
Service was friendly and efficient, and we didn’t have to wait long at all for a table, which was a nice bonus in Breckenridge. Everything came out quickly and hit the spot.
Would definitely come back again and recommend it if you’re craving Thai food while in the area.
Our server was nice and recommended the Duck Noodle Soup, I am so glad I went for it. The braised duck was flavorful and tender. Hubby opted for the Crispy Pork Basil with Fried Egg over Rice, it’s tasty and the pork was nicely cooked.
Decent simple eat and we were happy with our find.
I recently had the opportunity to dine at Thai Chili89 around my birthday , a Thai restaurant with a high rating. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts on why I believe this establishment is not worth your time or money.
Firstly, the Hainanese chicken was a major disappointment. It was neither genuine nor flavorful, leaving me questioning the authenticity of the dish. I would strongly advise against ordering this item.
Secondly, the drunken noodles were another letdown. Despite requesting extra spiciness, the dish arrived with no heat whatsoever. To make matters worse, the server was quite rude and forgetful, neglecting to bring us the side spice we had asked for.
The curry also left much to be desired, as it was easily the worst Thai curry I have ever had. The dish lacked the rich flavors one would expect from a traditional Thai curry, ultimately resulting in a bland and forgettable experience.
Dessert was no better, with the black sesame pudding tasting both sour and rotten. This was a particularly disappointing end to an already lackluster meal.
In conclusion, I am genuinely baffled by the high ratings and positive reviews. My experience was far from enjoyable, and I would strongly caution against spending your hard-earned money on such a disappointing culinary experience.
At dinner we were greeted warmly and recognized from our earlier visit. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. We ordered appetizers and dinner and were not disappointed. My son thoroughly enjoyed his Tofu Panag Curry. The Pad Thai was different from what I’ve previously tried, but it was good. For dessert we tried the black stick rice with coconut. All in all we enjoyed the experience.
