Having travelled a lot around Thailand, we’re quite picky about Thai food, but the flavours here were truly authentic and up there with anything we’ve had in Thailand itself. The curries were rich, fragrant, perfectly balanced, and full of depth.
On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for this area, especially considering the quality of the food.
Warm service, fantastic dishes, and excellent value — an absolute gem in Brussels. Highly recommended.
My go-to is pad med mamuang, the cashew stir fry. As with most dishes, you just pick the stir fry/curry/noodle and add your protein (tofu/chicken/shrimp/duck/…). Got mine with tofu and very much enjoyed it. Good portion of vegetables in the stir fry.
I was pleased to see Mango Sticky Rice on the menu, but I thought the rice was (re)heated a bit too much, making it crispy and chewy and having a somehat caramelized flavor.
That said, would happily come here gain.
The waiter was super nice and knew english well.
The place was quiet when I went in (in a good way), lovely decorations and very clean restrooms.
I charged my phone and myself here. I would try their other foods as well.
Highly recommend!
I had pretty high hopes as it had good reviews but the tom yum turned out too sweet with not enough spice. Was pleasantly surprised that it was brown rice instead of white but it was undercooked. The portion was ok and shrimp was ok.
Personally wouldnt recommend the tom yum, it’s pretty disappointing.
But then she suggested a daily combo plate without oyster sauce, so then the dish was tom yum, one spring roll, one samosa, rice and vegetable wok without oyster sauce. The tom yum soup was spicy, but really tasty, but the other dishes were bland. The spring rolls contained almost exclusively glass noodles, and the wok did not taste much without any sauce.
I honestly don’t think there are many vegan options here, but I might have misunderstood. The delicious tom yum soup lifts the place up to three stars.
