Made it my goal this year to try new cuisines including Thai! Saw the reviews on Google and all the praise on social media and decided to give Thai Chef Jr. a try, and boy…. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! Everything we had was full of flavor!
We got the chicken skewers, chicken massaman, thai chili shrimp, salt & pepper pork belly, thai salad, and thai teas.
The skewers were less than $1 each, the massaman was perfectly balanced and saucy, the shrimp was crunchy and sticky, everything was amazing!
It’s a small place, mostly takeout but can’t wait for them to hopefully expand to allow for more dine-in services.
Safe to say we found our Thai food spot, will definitely be returning!

I recently ordered takeout from this Thai restaurant, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The food was incredibly flavorful—fresh ingredients, bold spices, and perfectly balanced dishes that tasted just as good at home as they would in the restaurant.
The staff were just as impressive. They were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making the pickup experience smooth and enjoyable. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do.

I had the chef’s dumplings they were perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the sauce they come with. The Beef Fried Rice was unbelievable the vegetables tasted super fresh and were seasoned perfectly. I asked if they could add a fried egg on top, and they were happy to do it with no hesitation (which made it even better!). We also ordered the Pork Gyozas, and absolutely loved them. Everything we tried was full of flavor, fresh, with great portions. If you’re looking for authentic, clean, and delicious Thai food, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!

This stir-fried noodles combined with a protein and veggies is probably one of the best I ever explored. The sauce is so sweet and savory you will not need to supplement any additional condiments.
The inside of the restaurant is small; there is limited seating. I recommend purchasing your order to go.
Everything is made to order to ensure that your meal will be served fresh and piping hot. It is also suggested to call ahead to place your order.
I am always satisfied each time I purchase take out and I’m definitely planning to return.

We had the Shrimp Pad Seew, Crispy Pork Belly with Sweet Chili and the Dumplings which have pork, chicken and Maryland Crab. Excellent first time experience. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu. Some of the best Thai Ice Tea around. Take out only. Place gets real busy at times.

Finally found a Thai spot that doesn’t hold back on flavor! The balance of sweet, salty, sour and heat in the Massaman Curry was perfect! We loved how it had sweet potato in the curry to add just the right amount of sweetness to balance out the spice. The Ribeye Pad See Ew had that perfect ‘wok hei’ (charred) flavor, and the Beef Pad Kra Pao was a standout, topped with a perfectly fried egg with crispy edges and a runny yolk! The dumplings & gyoza were both fresh and don’t have that “got lost in the back of the freezer” taste. You can tell these dishes haven’t been rushed or modified, they taste like they’ve been handed down through a lineage of incredible cooks. It feels like you’re being invited into a family kitchen to taste a recipe that has been polished to perfection over the years! We’ll definitely be back!

The best Thai food I’ve ever had!! We ordered chicken Pad Thai, Thai chili wings, spring rolls, and dumplings and lychee iced teas. Obsessed!! Everything tastes amazing and full of flavor. The service is just as impressive; super friendly, attentive, clean environment and fast service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious and authentic Thai food and great vibes! 10/10

Just visited Thai Chef Jr. and loved it! Could not wait for them to open and they did not disappoint. The food was so delicious and fresh, you can really tell they use quality ingredients. For Appetizers I had the dumplings, and spring rolls and both were amazing. Also the pork belly was divine! The service was quick and the staff was very welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Thai Chef Jr did not disappoint! The Beef Kra Pow and Pork Belly Kra Pow were both incredibly flavorful and perfectly spicy. The Som Tum Salad was super fresh, with just the right balance of heat and crunch, and the Thai Iced Tea Tres Leches was the perfect sweet finish. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt warm and authentic. Definitely one of my go-to spots for authentic Thai food — highly recommend!

Finally, an authentic Thai food spot that I have been waiting for! I love thai food and have visited so many restaurants in NJ/NY, but I am so glad this is local so I can come whenever I want. All the food we ordered was spicy, flavorful & filling. I got the Pork belly Pad Kra Pow and the Som Tum. For dessert, the thai tea tres leches was 10/10. Not super sweet but very enjoyable. Will come back again!
