We used to frequent this place often around covid time. But lately it’s been beyond horrible. We ordered take out a few months ago for ribs, ragoons and thai tea. I called it in and my boyfriend went to pick it up. When he got home there was no thai tea because they did not pay attention to the order. This was already after a few bad experiences, so we stopped coming here. We decided to try them again on 1/3/26 for take out for the ribs, pad thai, mango sticky rice and a thai tea. Yet again they did not give us the thai tea until my boyfriend asked for it. The pad thai was sooo sweet and oily, you could not eat more than a few bites. The sticky rice for dessert had a bitter taste to it. We tried again today 1/5/26 for egg rolls, ribs and a thai tea. The thai tea is pictured. They couldn’t even be bothered to make it right. Egg rolls very greasey and the ribs were tough. This place was decent before but has gone down hill

The ice for the drinks is perfect including the glass itself it has small indentations for your fingers. The food was actually hot and the categories for spice levels are correct. If it says it’s hot believe it, the portions are nice you do get your moneys worth. The best thing to get is the mango sticky rice it’s incredible.

I’m normally super pumped to get take out from here but I’m not sure what was going on this evening. Ordered two different chicken dishes we normally enjoy but for some reason it was cut up chicken nuggets?! Not impressed
Luckily the fried rice was still tasty but I would never have spent 17 dollars on cut up frozen chicken nuggets.

The yellow curry was fragrant and delicious, though the potatoes could have been cooked a bit longer—they were still a bit crunchy and hard to eat. The pad Thai had a nice sweetness, and I loved the chewy texture of the noodles. Service was attentive and friendly, would come back to try more items on the menu!

Today I was so excited to share a good Thai restaurant with my boyfriend who had not tried this place. I wanted the yellow curry and remembered it was great a few years ago. Well today my experience was not that great. Their menu specials looked great so we tried the shrimp egg rolls. There was a little meat and full of veggies. They were crispy at the ends but towards the middle it was cold and soggy.
I ordered the yellow curry. The soup was very watery and my potatoes were so hard and uncooked in the middle I had to send it back to hopefully get them soft and edible but unfortunately it came back still uncooked so I ended up asking to switch my order to the ThaI fried rice. It was good and had a good flavor. My boyfriend ordered a veggie plate with brown rice. The rice looked Kurt like my white rice died purple with some grai rice thrown in. He liked his dish.
The thai tea was very good. We both would rate our food at a 6 at best. I dont know I guess profit over quality is what is happening now. It was not worth what we paid and the veggie plate was quite small. Both my dishes were a decent size. I don’t think I’ll be back and that’s a bummer.

Great service, comfortable ambiance, and delicious everything! We had several appetizers and they were all so tasty! You can’t go wrong with the veggie rolls, or the money bags. We had entress and the rice was perfect both white and brown rices. With the curry dish we ordered that medium curry level of spice warms you up but doesn’t overwhelm the flavors of the dish. The spare ribs were tender and juicy with a plentiful amount of sauce. We finished with a fried ice cream and it was the bees knees. Thank you for a lovely birthday evening! Great service, great food, and a quaint lovely place to enjoy it makes us repeat customers.

The efficient service, with quick order-taking and food delivery, was commendable. The staff’s recommendations added to the dining experience, although one dish had an off smell and bland sauce. However, the swift resolution by the server to replace it with a shrimp dish reflected their attentiveness to customer satisfaction. Despite this hiccup, the fresh and tasty food, along with the helpfulness of the staff in addressing our concerns, made for an enjoyable visit.

This place slaps!!! It’s amazing, my girlfriend and I have been here 3 times now and it’s our favorite Thai place, she loves the papaya salad and I love the spicy spaghetti. And the egg rolls are actually really good, every place I order egg rolls at (because I love them) seem to taste bad. But THESE egg rolls… are amazing! And the veggie rolls are also very good with the peanut sauce! I love this place, chill servers, decent prices!

My first experience here was a late night take-out curry order. The food was so good I vowed to return once I was back on that side of town. Yesterday was that day! This time I ordered the deep fried salmon & mangos. When the waitress asked how hot I wanted it, I told her “white girl medium”, she laughed and said “ok, mild” & brought some red chili flakes on the side which I didn’t use, the mild was perfect. I still haven’t had a chance to try the desserts but will be going back to check them out.

Good experience at Thai Boran. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty, though my orange chicken was a bit lukewarm. Otherwise, everything was well-prepared and flavorful. Nice atmosphere and good service overall. Would definitely come back to try more dishes!
