Chef “TERM” INATOR’s food was reeeeeally good!!!! Every dish we had was amazing, super tasty and good portion sizes!! There’s a twist to each dish where it doesn’t quite taste exactly like the average Thai dish. It’s better!! 😉 Didn’t know Thai Boat had been around for decades, but now I can see why. Location is a little off the beaten path….industrial shopping strip off 32 Ave NE… but ample parking and I went mainly for the food anyways, and not at all dissapointed!! Will be going back again for sure absolutely!

First time trying thai food. Tried parang curry was the best with rice. All dishes have vegetarian options with tofu. When you are waiting for the food never forget to read quotes on the wall, very funny ones. Finish with dessert (coconut ice cream with fried banana) and you’ll leave the place happy!!

Any gujjus/ indians out there, just go there and eat panang curry with rice. Tasty warm curry with mushy rice will give you a warm hug & remind you of your home town. Resembles closely with typical “dal-bhat” dish of India. Also, staff is very polite & nice. No loud music is a plus.

Friendly staffs. Foods were delicious but quite spicy, you should ask for mild to taste it better. We ordered SOMTAM, surprisingly it not only went well with all main dishes, but also enhanced our meal!!
Overall, one of the best Thai restaurants in NE. Definitely will come back many times!!

Always consistent food and service, simply put – very very good.
Had the cashew fried rice with prawns. Full of flavour and large sized prawns that are de-veined and flayed. Just amazing to see the time the kitchen staff takes to do this. Have been to many many restaurants and rarely do I see this done. Have been here for dinner before, and the phone is just as good in the evening as it is during lunch – consistency, plays a huge factor in customer satisfaction. Portion sizes are just right.
Service is always great as usual. Staff are very friendly and courteous, quick to seat you and quick to take your order. Food is fairly quick as well. Can literally do lunch in under an hour.
Restaurant is always clean, atmosphere is welcoming and warm.

Watery and bland pad thai.
Seems like they dropped a blob of goo on my plate. Looked more like carbonara than pad thai.
Lady serving me was nice but they need the ask the chef to try out a real pad thai dish. Also, reasonable prices.

Order consisted of Tom Kha soup with chicken, Wings with Sweet and Sour Sauce and their Thai salad.
The soup was just okay. The wings were overcooked and dry, most being almost inedible, the sauce was bland. The salad was fresh but way over spiced for me. I only had two bites and that was it for me.
Sorry Thai Boat, maybe your Chef had a bad night as usually I enjoy your meals. It’s been a few years so who knows, maybe the restaurant changed hands.

i was craving for padseeyou and went here. the serving for the noodles is little although the shrimp are big and a lot. The taste is really good. 4/5 for that. On the other hand the spring roll is too small and mostly just noodle and carrot no meat at all. it’s still fresh and crispy so 2.5/5 and lastly The cashew and basil(pork) 4/5. This is really good. i love the freshness and crunchiness of the dish but the coconut rice isn’t that good. taste like more just steam rice. overall the place is clean and love their quotes on the wall and paintings. overall the food is great
