Lovely little place and owners are extremely nice. Food is delicious and my wife and I both love they cater to our different tolerance levels for spiciness. Nice variety of choices and we always order a Thai Tea which are great.

Thai Bistro is small and minimalist in decor, so don’t overlook this spot for a delicious Thai treat. The menu is surprisingly varied, and the food was fresh and hot. Steamed dumplings were flavorful and tasty, and the rom Kia soup was tangy and delicious. The chicken pad Thai did not disappoint and was generously portioned. We’ve been a few times now and have been very pleased.

I had the most fantastic lunch here a couple of days ago! I stopped by a small restaurant and was blown away by the authentic Thai cuisine. I ordered a delicious curry and eggroll, and to top it off, I had a refreshing Thai tea. Every bite was so flavorful and satisfying that I couldn’t stop finishing them all. The lady who served me was incredibly kind and made me feel at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the authentic taste of Thailand. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

First the positive. The restaurant was clean and the people working were very nice. I assume it was the owners running it. There was an older woman rolling the spring rolls and I can only assume it was one of their mothers. She reminded me of my mom. Also there was only 1 other person in the restaurant. It felt weird with the place being complete silent with only me in there.

I ordered Tom Yum soup and the papaya salad.

I knew I was in for trouble when the soup came out and the broth was completely clear — like water. The soup was virtually tasteless. There was no fish sauce, no galanga, and most importantly, no tamarind. This soup is is supposed to built around those key elements.

The salad. It needed fish sauce as well. As it was, it was also bland with no umami. No acid but it was sweet.

I wish I could give this place 2.5 stars. I was only passing through and I would try it again only because they were so nice. Maybe they had a bad day in the kitchen.

We have enjoyed this Thai restaurant with a few Lao options. Food tends to be mild so if you like spicy be sure to ask. Drunken noodles is a favorite. The coconut curries are rich and good. The laab meat salad was tasty and mild by default. The tom yum noodle soup is huge and was fine, too. It is a small restaurant, and worth a visit if you are nearby. The young lady that always seems to be working the front of the house as a server does a good job and is nice and helpful.

The food was great. The waitress seem new and little unsure of her self, but she did great. We started with Sweet and Sour Tofu, and Shumai. My wife had Tom Yum Goong soup. My daughter had Phad Thai with pork. And I had Sriracha fried rice with pork.

The food here is fantastic! It’s made to order with fresh ingredients and is presented beautifully. I love the red curry and my husband is a big fan of the beef noodle soup. We like some kick, so the level 2 spice is just right for us. The restaurant is always clean and the service is excellent. Happy to have this close to home!

The pad thai is average compared to the others I’ve had. Level 2 spicy is plenty. The bua loi desert is coconut milk with rice balls and was perhaps too sweet but was very good. It did make me feel uncomfortable that an eight year old girl was operating the counter.

We ate here several times when we were visiting family in the area. This place is probably better than any Thai restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is a hidden gem.
