This place has one of the best sushi I’ve ever had !! YUM YUM AND DOUBLE YUM with a big YUMMY added in there. That sushi is called “The Sushi Bomb”. It is made with ingredients from the other sushis. This sushi is then wrapped in a crunchy fried crust… mmmm, mmmmm, mmmm!!!
My wife and I went there because we had been planning to go there for the longest time and finally, on a whim, we stopped in for a quick dinner. We ordered several types to see what they tasted and discovered the Sushi Bomb. It was recommended by our waiter. The sushi were served to us on a sushi boat.
I recommend Thai Bayside to everyone. The prices are also very reasonable and the portions are more than adequate to sate a hungry appetite.
We saw many families so, I would say that it is family friendly. It is very popular because we saw many people ordering for take out, too. Enjoy !! We sure did !!

We love Thai food and have tried many restaurants in and around Melbourne. Thai Bayside Restaurant was another amazing experience! The ambiance is cozy, the service is warm, and the food was excellent.
We started with sushi and then ordered pineapple fried rice with shrimp, drunken noodles with shrimp, and pad Thai with shrimp. I asked for drunken noodles without protein, and they were kind enough to add extra veggies instead, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The flavors were spot on, portions were generous, and everything was served fresh. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning!

This place has been in my list and I’m so happy we finally made it! All I can say is drop what you are doing and head there now! The food is amazing! The service is amazing and the place is small and perfect! We were going to take out but I wanted to sit down and enjoy the restaurant so we changed to dine in and I’m so glad we did! We will be back definitely!! The fire dragon roll was great!! Also the drunken noodle and pad lo-mein was amazing!!!

Thai Bayside is a quiet, small restaurant with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere that makes dining very enjoyable. The food was served hot and fresh, and every dish reflected exceptional choices and great care in preparation.
A special mention goes to our server, Keith, whose magnificent manners and excellent service truly stood out. He was attentive, professional, and made the entire experience even better.

It was my first time eating at this restaurant with my family, and the service and food were great. We all ordered and received our food and drinks. My sister was disappointed because she food a hair in her food and we told the server about it and they were kind enough to remake the Massaman Curry and side of white rice. I work in the food service industry, and I believe this is an amazing quality for any and every business to have. The restaurant and the staff saw the issue and immediately corrected it, and this made the experience all the better. Everything was amazing, and I definitely recommend this place. Thank you.

This little gem of a restaurant is simply amazing! We loved everything about it. Super clean. Probably the cleanest restaurant I have ever been to. Sanitizer on the table if you want it. Food presentation is stunning. Wait staff are the best and stay in top form.
Meal portions are huge, lunch portions are smaller. We had a mixed variety of food and everything was exceptional. If you see a menu item, listed as spicy but are like me and don’t do spicy, just ask and they will accomodate.
I highly recommend giving them a try.

Great Thai food! The staff is very friendly. Keep in mind there is not alot of seating, but don’t let that stop you from getting their food to go! Its the best!!

Will no longer eat here. After 5 years of regularly ordering and eating at Thai Bayside, tonight will be my last. All because of a side salad that would have cost them a few cents. The teriyaki steak dinner comes with salad and soup. Turns out when you order for pick up, you don’t get the soup and salad. You do however get to pay full price for the meal. I asked if they could please make an exception and at least let me get the side salad. They were adamant it was not possible… even though they have the little to-go boxes for the salad. Zero consideration for customer satisfaction. They are quite busy, my single review and loss of service won’t impact them but at some point, you just have to stand up for what’s right and for $23 plus the hundreds and hundreds spent over the years … they could have given me the side salad.
