First time at Thai Basil Signature restaurant. Went there because I was looking for Pad Thai. This place makes an amazing Pad Thai. I got the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai and it was outstanding. Went on a Sunday around 4 pm and it was not busy at all. Very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Thai food. Amazing soft shell tempura and Pad See Ew. Really nice. Large portions. Excellent value. Extremely friendly staff and a nice central downtown Phoenix location. We’ll be back.

What a wonderful Thai restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and I loved the beef salad! It was so tasty and there was a lot of beef packed into it. We also got the coconut soup and it was incredible! Lots of meat packed into it and flavour and The broth was incredibly creamy and delicious. Finally, we got the grilled pork Vietnamese style and it was incredible again! The food looked amazing and it also tasted just as amazing! Our server was super nice and the interior was great. We had a great window view of downtown Phoenix and I highly recommend this place.

Called in to order as their site didn’t support any requests for dishes, which is understandable especially as those modifications can get complicated for a busy restaurant. It was totally fine to remove the chicken, tofu, and bell pepper from the Mee Krob (I stated I have no problem paying full price) and we ordered a shrimp yellow curry and extra rice. With 4 cans of soda an extra side of jasmine rice it came out to about 50 bucks. The drinks made up like 12 of that, but it was still cheaper than the hotel.

Enough logistics! The food was delicious! Creamy, thick, rich yellow curry that coated the rice nice and thicc. Easily a dozen plump tasty shrimp in it totally justifying the common upcharge. The Mee Krob was perfect and just what my wife craved, packed with salty sweet flavor, crunchy bean sprouts and tangy green onion. Simple preparation with all the items removed. The restaurant was about to close and the staff was relaxed and friendly. I realized that’s why he didn’t even ask for a name. Super solid and deserves all 5 stars for more than meeting our expectations.

(The Tupperware was mine, used as a bowl for the curry)

Came for a quick dinner before the theater with three others at 6p on a Thursday. Got seated right away and while it got nearly full in the next 30 minutes, I didn’t notice anyone ever waited for a table while we were there. Unfortunately, the two servers were pushed to their limit by the full house. And while they managed to pull it off (barely), their time was really stretched thin and the pace was too frantic. The kitchen, however, was locked in and everything was mostly delicious. The drunken noodles were the best I can recall ever eating and the potstockers and curry something were enjoyed by all. Spring (egg?) rolls were only average though. But over all TB was the reliably good dinner we were hoping for. RECOMMEND.

Went here before a concert back in January. Still remember how the experience was even after all this time. We ordered the veggie spring wraps along with the kebabs which were wonderful. The mango cheesecake was amazing, definitely would get again. Unfortunately the main entree, which was Pad Thai, looked completely orange & smelled and tasted like cat food. I am not one to waste food, however I couldn’t finished it or even eat more than three bites it was that bad.

Wouldn’t recommend unless you just want appetizers or just a good dessert.

Very good authentic Thai food, I tried their pad Thai and it was fantastic! It was so good I got an extra order to go. Not very busy and good atmosphere. Many dishes to choose from and lots of variety make it hard to choose, but can’t go wrong with pad Thai! They are on point with the heat levels, I chose medium/hot (4) and they can go higher.. when I try a new place I start here and see how hot I can go!
Parking is very limited and it’s only street parking with a meter.

The stellar reviews brought me to Thai Basil and I can see what all the hype is about! I ordered chicken Pad Thai, spice level 2 and an order of mango sticky rice. I ordered take out and the gentleman who took my order was very friendly. I was surprised at how large the portion of Pad Thai was but then I realized they have lunch portions as well as dinner portions and maybe I needed to specify I wanted the smaller one so just be aware. Flavor-wise I’m very pleased with the Pad Thai, although next time I think I’d get a higher spice level and specify I want the smaller portion. Total I paid $27 which seems a bit steep for Pad Thai and mango sticky rice, however, I love Thai food and will definitely return to try some other favorites!

Our daughter loved their food. She ate two servings of her food. We ordered their signature dish which had chicken, fresh not frozen veggies, rice and a nice sweet and savory sauce. Food was ready very quickly. It was confusing who our waiter was as we had 4 different people seat, serve, bring drink and bring check. Our food was plentiful portion and served hot. There was unfortunately a hair in our food, we didn’t see till plate was almost empty. We ordered an adult beverage called a Mai Thai. It was almost as costly as our food which served 3 people, it didn’t look like the menu photo and tasted only sweet( no alcohol or very little). We paid cash and the change was given in large bills in hopes of prompting a large tip. We had other change so we tipped with ones. Thank you!

Cannot fault. Excellent service and fantastic food with a good portion size. Lovely friendly family atmosphere, i visited on a Monday evening, it was quiet when i arrived but i was given a warm welcome. I sat on one of the higher tables at the window, very comfortable, and was presented with a good choice from the menu at very reasonable prices. My order was taken quickly and politely and i waited a very short time before my food was served hot and fresh. I didnt have to ask for a refill on drinks, the lady and gentleman refreshed it. As soon as they saw it deplete.
The food (barbecue chicken) was amazing, so full of flavour. I will use this as my restaurant of choice each time i visit phoenix. Definitely 10 out of 10
