First time visiting. Weekday. Very quiet. Very clean and greeter was sweet. A very nice young man. Ordered apps and entree and dessert. Food was definitely prepared with love and care. Presentation was 1000% Meal was wonderful. Had some steam dumplings, spring rolls, vegetable delight, general tsar chicken, dessert-mango sticky rice and by the way, this is a VEGAN & VEGETARIAN location. I need more of this in my life. Thanks to the owner who we were told makes all the sauces for the dishes. The pairings were great. Cute spot. Friendly and attentive staff. Would def recommend and I would visit again.

Visited this place last week. It’s a vegan place. Service and the ambiance were good. We tried mushroom sausage (good but dry), steam veg dumplings (good), drunken noodles (very sweet), veg Gen tso (sweet), Duck & Mushrooms(sweet). Overall, everything we ate felt a bit sweet for our taste even though we ordered spicy. And since it is vegan, we were able to make out taste is heavily processed food. If you are vegan, definitely recommend it as they have many options to try & and the quality of food is great. If you don’t like vegan meat, then this may not be your choice.

A really rare vegetarian only Thai restaurant. We had ordered Papaya salad, which was nice and tangy, expected to be spicy, but it was okay.
Then we had Drunken Noodles, it was worth finishing each every bite of the portion.
We also had mango sticky rice, which was bit disappointing, as they served it with ripe raw mango instead of a well ripened mango.

Wow finally found a good Thai restaurant in the area which is focused on vegetarian and vegan dishes. Wonderful service, tasty food and pleasant atmosphere. Dishes are reasonably priced. Food was served on time and just as ordered. Definitely left the place satisfied with intentions to come back again.

Thai Basil is a great vegetarian/vegan restaurant. The meals are delicious, and the service is amazing!! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty delicious meal! The service is great, they are patient and the food comes out fairly quick!! The taste is delicious my husband’s favorite is pad see ew!! I got the ginger sauce with mixed vegetables. It was delicious. For appetizers we ordered the Thai spring rolls and the curry puffs. The curry puffs were so good my hubby ordered twice. The spying rolls were also nice and crispy and the filling was very tasty!! We have been here many times and will continue to come back time and time again.

The Papaya Salad was among the better ones I’ve tried in the area- slurped up the last bit of dressing too! The Thai Mango curry had colors and flavors, and plenty of mangoes and chewy tofu. The spiciness of the Drunken Noodles with veggie patty was perfect. And how does the broccoli get so satisfying!
Veg dumpling and Veg Mushroom sausage were delicious too.
Great service to go with the vegan meal.

Great vegan spot! I love thai food as well, so this is always a pleasant dinner. My only wish is maybe for some more variety in the vegetables in the dishes.

PROs- very good taste , very good pricing
CONs- location , no meat restaurant, ambience
We went to Rutgers and was looking for a good restaurant and came across this restaurant.. had good google reviews and wanted to try it . Location wise it was ok. Lots of parking outside . Few other shops nearby . Service was good . Just that the whole restaurant was a bit cramped . Not much of space and ambience was average .
Good was very good though. It’s an only veg restaurant! No chicken , no meat . !! We were 8 and ordered many stuff .. overall quality of the food was good. Thai fried rice , drunken noodle , pad thai ,… etc was very good .. they charge 0.5 cents for hot sauce which was a bit wierd ! Never seen any restaurants charging money for a sauce … kids liked the food though. Wanted to give 3.5 stars but gave it a 4 ! Good experience overall.
