Thai Basil Cuisine and Sushi Bar truly impressed me from start to finish. I’ve tried their beef pho to go multiple times, but this was my first time dining in and the experience was absolutely divine. I ordered the beef pho with a crispy spring roll and a jasmine tea, and everything was delicious. The pho was rich and comforting, the spring roll perfectly crisp, and the jasmine tea tied the meal together beautifully. Their menu is incredibly extensive, offering so many great options that it’s hard to choose just one. The servers were amazing attentive, welcoming, and quick to make sure everything was just right. The cozy atmosphere makes you want to sit back and relax, and the entire restaurant is spotless, which I really appreciated. great food, great service, and a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Thai Basil is hands down our number one spot to eat in Villa Rica! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially love the pho! My go-to is either the chicken or beef, Mama loves the same, and Dad always gets the shrimp pho.

For appetizers, it’s sushi and poke all the way, Dad enjoys the poke while Mama, my baby, and I go for the sushi every time. We usually order the California Roll (or something just like it!), Dynamite Roll, and Volcano Roll. Each one hits the spot!

One fun and memorable moment was when Dad ordered the poke, and Mr. Kong came by and told us about a special organic wasabi root sauce they had. It’s so much fresher than the store bought kind. We all tried it, and *whoa!* it was a kicker! Super flavorful, fresh, and definitely strong if you eat too much too fast! We really appreciate that extra touch. It showed how much they care about their food and their customers.

Speaking of great surprises, on our last visit, we tried their newly imported beers. One of them, called Orion, is from Japan, it was especially smooth! My Dad kept commenting on how good it was. My mom doesn’t usually drink, but she was so curious from Dad’s reaction that she gave it a try and she liked it! I ended up ordering another round for them. Then there was another beer, **Beerlao (Beer Lau)**, my parents loved that ine too! According to my parents, it was smooth and easy to enjoy. It was a fun and relaxed moment seeing everyone enjoying themselves.

And we can’t say enough good things about **Julia**, our absolute favorite waitress! Her energy is so warm and welcoming. It’s like being taken care of by family. She’s consistently kind, attentive, thoughtful, and always greets us with a smile that instantly lifts the mood. Her presence adds so much to the dining experience, and it truly wouldn’t be the same without her. I always request to sit in her section because she makes every visit feel special. Thai Basil is lucky to have her, and so are we!

Seeing Mr. Kong is always a highlight. He and his wife run the restaurant with so much heart, and it truly shows. Mama always says they make a great team, and she’s absolutely right!

The restaurant vibe is calm and peaceful, with an aesthetically pleasing Asian-inspired atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, service, and experience. Thai Basil is a gem, and we can’t wait to try their other spot, 202 Bangkok Thai and Sushi Bar in Carrollton!

I hadn’t been here since before they remodeled/expanded. The place looks great! The food was perfect. I ordered the red curry chicken at level 3 heat and a spicy salmon sushi roll. The food tasted great and fresh. The wait staff was a bit slow but they only had one server. But everything was still timely.

I’ve been back 2 times since and the food continues to be amazing and fresh!! Had the chicken drunken noodles tonight and it was the best drunken noodles I’ve had in a long time.

I really enjoyed the food and can’t wait to go back while I’m visiting for the holidays. The Plum wine was very good as well.

Relaxed Thai restaurant in Villa Rica.
One thing I’ve discovered about Thai Basil and their sister location, is the consistency. Simple flavors, bold (spicy) taste, and amazing service every time.
You must try the green and yellow curries first. Then return for other dishes.
We experienced true hospitality at Thai Basil.

There are very rude staff work here. They ask for extra for every thing they screwed up. The server suggested something and did not tell it is extra spicy. They don’t replaced but asked extra money. Ever coming back- quality of the food not great.

My husband and I decided to escape the usual fast food and same restaurant chains routine on a Tuesday afternoon and found ourselves at this lovely restaurant. It was nice and quiet, so we were seated right away. When the waitress handed us the menus, we were amazed by how many choices there were—definitely a highlight for me. After some back and forth, we picked out a few dishes that stood out to us and shared them, they came out quickly and steaming hot. The way everything was presented was really appealing too. The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced for the generous portions. You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the seasoning was spot on. We’ve been to other Thai spots, but this one takes the cake. It was so tasty that we ordered takeout the very next day to try more of the menu. My favorite dish so far has to be the pineapple fried rice! The entire staff was also very welcoming and friendly.

Enjoyed a delightful meal today at a local spot that serves Thai food and sushi. The dishes were hot and fresh, hitting the spot perfectly. However, if you prefer milder flavors, be cautious with the spiciness levels here. I have a moderate tolerance for spicy food and even the #1 spicy level (the lowest), recommended by our waitress Rose, packed quite a punch. Rose provided exceptional service throughout the meal.

Stopped in to order a takeaway soup, had a beverage at the bar. Staff were friendly and accommodating, soup was pretty good for being in an area not known great food. I would definitely order from here again. They have a full bar and offer specialty cocktails if that’s your vibe. Nice selection of Thai dishes.
