The food at Thai Basil is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like! It’s well-made thai food at a fair price.

Went here for a quiet birthday dinner on a Tuesday about 6pm. We were the only folks dining in when we arrived.
We loved the mix of Asian cuisine on the menu including curry, noodles, rice, and plenty of vegetarian options.
We got two curry dishes and a rice and noodle plate. We also tried their spring rolls and edamame.
I’ve lived nearby for 2 years and this was our first time here and honestly it was so good!
The flavors of each dish were incredible. The service was good and we felt safe in the restaurant with COVID rules being observed.
Keep in mind each dish we ordered was good for 2-3 people and our part of 4 had PLENTY of food with the appetizers we ordered and the 4 dishes.
Also, we had already ate half of our food before
I took pictures because it was so good!

Basically the same thing as Sushi Ya (in Draper and Provo). Most of the menu is identical. Sushi Ya is a little bit better overall – slightly better rolls, nicer building, more experienced staff. Prices about the same.

Overall this is a quantity over quality experience. The only reason to really come is the buffet. Overall the sushi is fine, but not great. Rolls are pretty basic. None of the rolls really stand out, but it’s about $16 for all you can eat (lunch price). So the quality of rolls probably on par with $3-4 dollar rolls. You get what you pay for.

(A year ago) The service was good and the restaurant clean. I got the green curry and it tasted like they poured a whole bag of sugar in it. It was sickeningly sweet. I really don’t care for the taste of other items I’ve tried in the past either, especially compared to other local Thai restaurants. I probably won’t be back.

Feb 18, 2020 – I had a craving for pho, but didn’t want to travel too far from work. I decided to give this restaurant another try. It wasn’t bad, really. While I’ve definately had better, it did satisfy my craving and was good. I also ordered the pork eggrolls. They were a bit oily/mushy on the inside, which I normally don’t like, but the flavor was good and the outside wasn’t that oily and very crispy – so I think it balanced out. Since I found something I liked, I updated my review and rating. I think I’ll be back to try some other things at some point.

This restaurant recently changed to a sushi bar with an all you can eat option. I chose this option and went with the dinner menu although I was there at lunchtime. I did this to get access to their entire menu. I ordered a few nigiri and two rolls. I ordered a roll with spicy tuna in it to see how they handles this offering. In my opinion, many sushi places add more heat than is needed and it overwhelms the fish flavors. I realize heat in food is a subjective thing. I felt the spice level was a little high in the lovers roll. The rainbow roll was good, not smothered in eel sauce but had it to the fish was still the highlight of the roll. The nigiri were good, the ratio of fish to rice was good, especially for an all you can eat option. Many all you can eat sushi places give you a golf ball size lump of rice and a tiny bit of fish. Not here. The place was clean and the decor eclectic. Service was efficient and polite. I would have preferred hot tea but was told they didn’t have this. Don’t know if they offer beer or wine

Ordered the pho to go and asked for sprouts only and no noodles to make it low carb. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the yellow chicken curry and it was amazing.

Food was pretty ok. We ordered Drunken Noodles and Basil Chicken. The Vegetable Fried Rice lacked flavor. The Thai Basil in Las Vegas tastes fresher.

This is a nice quiet location. Their curry is really good – although the bamboo pieces were a little too thick for my licking. Their table service lacked a little. We were constantly asking for more water and it took a while to receive more rice. The flavors were in excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. I would recommend this place to my friends.

While the staff seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people in the dining room, the food was great. I enjoyed Beef Pho, and was very satisfied.

So, some pros and cons to this place. I’ve been here 2 times on Saturday afternoons for reference.

Pros-
It has nice decor.
The food tastes good.
You’re seated quickly.
The food is prepared relatively quickly.

Cons-
The wait staff were in jeans and a t-shirt both times.
It was difficult to get the attention of our waiter to get the check both times.
I was able to watch the “mango lemonade” be made by our waiter by them pouring mango syrup into the cup, and then using soda fountain lemonade to fill it the rest of the way. Not blaming the waiter for this, but I didn’t want to see that, and I don’t think most people would.
The second time I went there the yellow chicken curry gave me intestinal distress.
Prices seemed a little bit higher than expected for the kind of food and service provided.

I don’t care how the wait staff dresses, or if I see my lemonade get made. But the lack of thought that has gone into the front of house makes me a bit nervous about how the food is kept and prepared.
