MORE PEOPLE NEED TO EAT HERE!!! I just got takeout for the first time and wow. The basil fried rice is my favorite I’ve had in the city. Not to mention the owner is one of the sweetest men on the planet, and walked us through the menu, spiciness levels, and all the different sauces with so much patience and kindness. He even gave us a slice of watermelon to take home with our takeout will be back and highly recommend!

The food is SO good! My family has been going here for decades and every time the food is incredible. It’s owned and run by the nicest couple. I’ve had other Thai food all around Chicago but nothing compares. Can’t recommend it highly enough! (Take out only now)

Some of our favorite food for takeout! We always order extra for leftovers. The owners are so sweet and remember you and make you feel like family. Amazing curry, beef lar nar, pad see yew, and pad Thai. Our favorite though are the perfectly spiced shrimp in a blanket. E

A great find. A humble hole-in-the-wall with friendly service and expertly prepared, delicious food. The noodle soup I had with duck was so hearty and satisfying, with homemade noodles and a rich, interesting broth. A great stop for after the airport.

Incredible mom and pop restaurant. Be careful ordering spice levels. Spicy salad with fresh vegetables and tofu. The duck noodle soup had wide rice noodles, clear flavorful broth—perfect for a cold or sick day. Take out only although the ambience and decor were great. Support this small business!

First time in; was terrific! Ask the owner for recommendations. Loved the Yum Nue and wouldn’t have tried it otherwise. Thanks again.

Favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago! Great Tam Kah Gai soup. The owners are very friendly and always able to make recommendations about spice level and any add ons you may need. Sad that they closed their in-person dining, but always happy to order to go!

This place was delicious! They honor how spicy you ask for but it doesn’t lose the flavor. And yes the owner is lovely! He even offered suggestions how to mix the sauces for each dish. We will definitely be back.
