We came here while in town based on the generally positive reviews, hoping to find a hidden gem. I’ve eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants (including some incredible ones overseas in Thailand) and while Thai Archer was okay, it just didn’t quite stack up for me.
We started with the cream cheese wontons, which were absolutely delicious; crisp, rich, and perfectly sweet. If we’d stopped there, it might’ve been a five-star experience. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t carry that same energy.
The chicken satay had good flavor and presentation, but the texture of the chicken was off, a bit chewy and inconsistent. The peanut sauce was the best part of that dish, smooth and flavorful with a classic roasted depth.
My wife ordered the Masamun curry, and while it was probably the best part of the meal, it lacked the creamy coconut richness you expect from that dish. It almost felt like the spice level dictated the flavor. We asked for zero spice, and instead of being aromatic and balanced, it came out a bit flat. Having tried Masamun at many Thai restaurants and even in Thailand, I know it can shine without heat.
I went with the Pad Thai, and that’s where the meal really missed the mark. It’s such a staple, the benchmark dish, but their sauce leaned toward a “sweet-and-sour” flavor rather than the expected tamarind base. It wasn’t bad, just a surprising and unbalanced/undesired take.
The staff was kind and attentive, and the location is convenient while we were in the area, but the building feels a little tired and could use some warmth. The ambiance was off… no background music, so every table’s conversation filled the room, and the temperature kept shifting from cold to uncomfortably hot.
I don’t want to sound overly critical. We were grateful for the meal and the service, but I probably wouldn’t return or recommend it. With a few refinements in flavor, texture, and atmosphere, Thai Archer could easily rise to match the strong reviews it’s earned.

Amazing service and food! I came here with two friends for some dinner on a Friday night and we were blown away with the quality. Our server was amazing and extremely attentive. The food was phenomenal and portions were very filling. The presentation on the Tom ka soup was awesome show stopper.
We ordered the tempura vegetables and Tom ka for a starter, drunken noodles with pork and yellow curry with chicken. All of the dishes were phenomenal and we highly recommend.

I ordered the lunch special combination of Thai Basil stir-fried (#3) and Green curry (#9). The green curry was quite spicy (level 2), but it was very tasty and I liked it!
The side dishes of spring rolls and fried wontons were also good.
There were a few customers ordering takeout, but there were only 3 other people eating in. We had a great time chatting and eating slowly.

Don’t skip on: the Pahd Kee Mao and Mango Sticky Rice!!
I loved my first experience at this cute Thai restaurant run by the sweetest ladies! The small and quaint restaurant made you feel like you’re at home and an aunty is cooking for you. I came with a few friends and we ordered the dumplings, Thai iced tea, Pahd Kee Mao, green curry, yellow curry and the mango sticky rice. Everything was so flavorful and came out steaming hot – my preferred temperature!
The mango sticky rice was perfect – mangoes were ripe, and there was a good ratio of rice to coconut sauce to mango.
The staff were so sweet and the restaurant was clean.
Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Quick stop by for lunch specials , yum.!!! I got Thai Basil with tofu so good . BBQ pork is quite good also . My mother in law’s favorite here is Mongo and sticky rice . We will be back for sure . ✨

Sweeeeeet little neighborhood spot! Green curry and yellow curry were both delicious and perfectly spiced, and spring rolls were crispy and yummy. Service was lovely and the patio looks perfect for warmer weather.

We arrived at this restaurant and were the only guests so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were so pleased with the food and service. We had the egg rolls and 2 beef waterfall salads and they were so good. Do not be fooled if you arrive and it isn’t busy. It was fantastic and the patio is perfect for spring!

I have really enjoyed Thai Archer in the past many times and while the food was good, they short changed our order. I tried to address this and once again, they short changed us. Definitely not a full meal. You can get amazing Thai food at several restaurants close by for a much better deal.

I’ve been wanting to give this place a try and I am happy I was able to yesterday. Service was great. The decor and ambience was colorful and fun. The food was super tasty. Be mindful of spice levels. Mild was pretty spicy. I really enjoyed the drunken noodles. The egg rolls and tempura were delicious. I will definitely be back.
