It’s not as bad as the the reviews say. I went after lunch on a day when the other two Thai restaurants beside it were both closed. The owner there was struggling to keep up with the orders, handling both the cooking and the cashier duties. I ordered the Massaman curry, which came with rice, and the Thai iced tea. My companion had the drunken noodles (pictured). Our meal was ready after about a 20 minute wait, plus the nearly 10 minutes we had to wait before he was able to man the counter.

There are tables that you can use, but all the the food is packed up at the counter to go. The curry sauce was rich and spicy, although the some of the chili flakes settled on the bottom of the tub and needed to be stirred in. There were no other vegetables in it, except for a large quantity of thick onion strips. It also had a potato, cut into large quarters. Smaller pieces would have been able to be cooked through. As it was, my small plastic fork could barely handle the hardness of this tuber.

The Thai iced tea was delicious, and very creamy–almost too creamy, as if I were meant to wait for some of the ice to melt before consuming it. The Styrofoam cup was more than half filled with ice at after I had finished.

My vegetable egg rolls arrived opened, and I had to toss the stale chicken pad thai in the trash. This is the worst order I’ve received from Grubhub and from Thai 55. I’ll never waste time or money here again.

I ordered via Uber and the food containers were open. Some of the containers were so poorly packaged that the food was protruding from the sides. I ended up throwing everything away. I will never eat at or order from Thai 55 again.

Ordered pad Thai and crab Rangoon on Uber Eats. Pad Thai was dry and bland but pad Thai serving size was huge, heavier than a chipotle bowl. Crab Rangoon was like drinking a La Croix when you want a soda HOWEVER, I kinda liked it. It made for a chip-like experience almost and was so nice to eat, I was sad when I ran out. Overall, experience was like exchanging quality for quantity. Could’ve been a lot worse.

DONT BOTHER!!!!! Worst Thai food in the US. I called in a order yesterday evening for pickup…but eating pile of garden weeds would’ve been a better culinary experience. Lets go worst to best:
Pad Thai w/pork- Whewww…what is my character limit? This was the worst excuse for Pad Thai I have every experienced. Please, for anyone reading this post take a look at the photo and tell me something right about the dish! It was extremely dry…so dry that the Thai noodles clumped together in one form. Zero sauce and remarkably bland. Zero heat, how is this Thai food? No Bean Spouts. No peanuts. Nothing but a bad time! Also I question if what was provided was actually pork in the dish. 0/10.
Basil Fried Rice w/chicken- The rice…the rice…the rice It was obvious that the basil fried rice was simply recycled chicken fried rice that was re-cooked with some basil. The rice was burnt, MUSHYYY, and THE BASIL WAS BURNT. A poor experience in every bite.
Dunken Noodle- Immediately confused once I opened the container as nothing about the noodles were drunk or as I expected smothered in sauce, and there were hardly ANY noodles in the dish at all, and what was available were over cooked and thus mushy. The dish was mostly cabbage and other vegetables. The flavor was also VERY different from other Drunken Noodle dishes I’ve had in the past; it was extremely savory vs the sweet profile I’ve experienced in the past.
The Baby Vegetarian Egg Rolls- more than likely previously delivered frozen but the flavor was nice. However, the egg rolls were sooo throughly soaked in oil that each bite was accompanied by a squirt of canola oil.

Avoid this place.

I am really disappointed with my order from this restaurant. I ordered through Door Dash and will be leaving a review there as well. I ordered Pad Thai with beef which is supposed to have bean sprout, egg, green onion and chopped peanuts. Well……… at Thai 55 my Pad Thai came with no bean sprout, no chopped peanuts and no green onion, rather the Pad Thai came with unadvertised shredded cabbage that had the resemblence and crunchiness factor but not the flavor of bean sprout once stirred in and it wilted a bit that lead me to believe that this restaurant advertises one thing but serves up another with sustituted and or possibly inferior ingredients ( plainly put CHEATING!!!! ) Additionally I ordered fried Chicken wontons and recieved fried pot stickers instead ????
My Pad Thai sauce had spilled all out and on everything and everwhere at the bottom of my plastic bag covering the napkins and plastic cutlery too. That in itself was a new one for me ……super over sauced Pad Thai ????? I have never experienced Pad Thai like this ( this is not meant in a good or in a complimentary manner) The Pad Thai was the most disappointing because there was no green onion at all not even on top, no bean sprout and no chopped peanuts instead they placed shredded cabbage and carrots on the dish. This was not what was described or what I thought I was paying for.
You have to be careful ordering delivery because it seems that the restaurants take less care or don’t care about the preparation of your food. This was disappointing to say the least.
Upon calling back and inquiring about the missing ingredients I was told that they don’t put in green onion and the chopped peanuts is already mixed in ????? When I said that green onion is on your online and Door Dash menu he then says “someone made a mistake ” and he was right ✅️ it was me for wasting my time and money on this lackluster experience. I was so perturbed I didn’t even ask about why I was sent potstickers instead of the fried wonton. The potstickers were tolerable the Pad Thai was TASTELESS greasy and the noodles were chewy and coated in a super sweet red pasty type sauce that was overpowering . I don’t know what else to say but NO !!!!!! I couldn’t eat it

UPDATE 8-8-2023

Still NO Good !! My brother unbeknownst to me purchased me the Chicken Pad Thai. It was horrible and I immediately stopped after the first bite. I asked him where did you get this from not Thai 55 and he answered YES. The noodles are overcooked and the sauce is a red super sweet ketchup tasting flavorless concoction served with shredded cabbage a piece of lime and shredded carrot. I told him Thank you as I threw it in the trash where it belonged. Sad that this updated review remains unchanged………well at least they are consistent with their lack of quality and dissappointment status

My husband and I ordered chicken pad Thai, beef fried rice, satay chicken, Bangkok chicken, and a smoothie. Tbh the pad Thai was a bit bland and barely had any chicken. The beef fried was delicious but again barely any meat. The satay chicken and Bangkok were pretty good as well. The smoothie with tapioca was great! We ordered via uber so not sure what the place looks like.

The noodles are overcooked as the two shrimp and three tiny squid pieces I got.. I was looking for to the sea food but there was almost no sea life inside the dish. Not ok for a meal .. overcooked noodles and little to no meats.

####**** I put in an order for food and they took my money…Never delivered my food. Then held my money for two weeks.

When they hold your money it gives them pennies in their bank…when doing it hundreds and thousands of times…the pennies add up. They’re ripping us off and nobody’s got an issue with it??.

How does your bank take seconds to take my money from my bank..

But it takes them up to two weeks to send it back…

That what we’re allowing and they’re going to keep doing it long as people keep buying g the food without realizing they’re OK whether we like the food or not.. either way they make money…

I honestly can’t rate as I ordered from them through Ubereats for the first time today.
But I can tell you I was very happy with the deal. They have a promo on ubereats buy one get one free for both the fried rice and potstickers .
The fried rice was delicious the shrimp ratio to rice was overly generous. The only thing was for some reason although the fried rice came at a ready to eat temperature; I had to reheat the potstickers they were cold but once heated up they were also very tasty. I do plan on ordering from that again and trying different dishes. Hopefully my potstickers will come warm next time because they were yummy!
