Great grilled duck. Sweet and sour chicken is not as crunch as we would like. Generally lacking what we Asians called the “wok-hei”
Service is impeccable. We had a great evening.

This is a easy 5/5, we came to have dinner without reservation, we got sit immediately and the atmosphere was lovely I would even say great for a date, chill music not too crowded, you can tell this is family business, we got served by a girl, she was super sweet, always making sure that everything was fine, we came for dinner and ordered 2 starters and 2 mains to share, we went for the Vietnamese roll and the Chicken satay in homemade peanut sauce (3 peaces) she brought 4 peaces so that both of us got to eat 2 ❤️‍ isn’t that already the sweetest thing ever!!?? And it was also delicious, if I had to choose one of those two starters I would stick with the satay but the roll was also very fresh, minty and delicious. And the mains…. Wow, we got the pad thai, and the Pho Supe… amazing both of them, the Pho broth… incredible, and the Pad thai had a good amount of big praws and fresh vegetables, also in general terms, we probably would have been full with just 2 mains because they serve generous amounts, at a very reasonable price. The toilets were also very clean and great perfume! I would 100% come back, if I had something to say to improve would be to put sticky rice with mango in the desert menu!
Very good job guys, congratulations

It’s okay. It is more of chinese-thai than authentic thai. Cost 23Fr per person for the lunch buffet, small selection but will fill any hungry stomach. Tap water is 2 Fr per liter. Which is the cheapest one we have encountered here in Switzerland.

Fantastic food. Had the won ton soup for starter, and chicken satay skewers with fried rice for main. Both were superb. Restaurant was surprisingly quiet given the quality of food and service. Great spot.

Absolutely brilliant. Night off from client dinner so we walked around this area and decided on Thach, I had all the veggie options with tofu, summer roll, tom yum soup and a brilliant shechuan curry with noodles that had loads of firm tofu. Oh and must mention Nadine, superb waitress who worked the whole restaurant tirelessly.

Best crispy duck dish in Zurich, hands down. Also enjoyed the plum wine and the little bottle it’s served in.
Huge portions, super friendly service, fair prices, and wonderful vibe. Will gladly go back again and again.

The pho was great on a cold rainy day. The duck was my favorite. Very crispy and flavorful. The chef is Vietnamese so the Vietnamese items were delicious.

Didn’t try the other non-Vietnamese items except the chicken skewers which was flavor. They gave generous servings of peanut sauce.

I had the grilled duck breast at this restaurant, and it was absolutely outstanding. The meat was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was just right, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. The dish was beautifully presented, and the sides complemented the duck wonderfully. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great service and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

In the bustling heart of Zurich lies a culinary gem that transports you straight to the vibrant streets of Thailand – Thach. This restaurant is more than just a dining destination; it’s a gastronomic journey that offers a taste of Thailand’s rich and diverse cuisine.

As someone who enjoys exploring the city’s culinary landscape, I find Thach to be a breath of fresh “Thai-r”! The restaurant offers a menu teeming with authentic Thai dishes, each meticulously prepared to bring out the unique flavors that Thai cuisine is renowned for.

The vegetarian options at Thach are, simply put, “to-fu-lly” good. The summer roll is a refreshing start, bursting with crisp vegetables and tofu that’s as soft as a summer’s breeze. It’s the perfect appetizer to whet your appetite for the culinary adventure that awaits.

The Tom Yum soup is a culinary masterpiece, a symphony of flavors that dance on your tongue. The soup is a perfect blend of hot and sour, with a generous serving of tofu adding a delightful texture. It’s a dish that warms your heart as much as it pleases your palate, a true testament to Thai culinary prowess.

However, the star of the show is undoubtedly the Szechuan curry with noodles. This dish is a flavor explosion, with the firm tofu perfectly absorbing the rich, spicy curry. The noodles, cooked to perfection, provide a comforting base for the bold flavors of the curry. It’s a dish that leaves you with a “noodle-ful” of memories!

No review of Thach would be complete without mentioning the restaurant’s exceptional service. Nadine, the waitress, is a force to be reckoned with. She navigates the bustling restaurant with grace and efficiency, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to. Her tireless dedication adds a personal touch to the dining experience, making Thach feel like a home away from home.

The restaurant’s location in central Zurich makes it a convenient stop for both locals and tourists. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, Thach offers a culinary experience that’s as inviting as it is satisfying.

In conclusion, Thach is a “Thai-riffic” addition to Zurich’s dining scene, offering a taste of Thailand’s vibrant cuisine in the heart of the city. With its impressive menu, exceptional service, and inviting ambiance, Thach is a restaurant that truly delivers on its promise of an authentic Thai dining experience. Whether you’re a vegetarian, a tofu lover, or simply a food enthusiast, Thach is a must-visit restaurant that will leave you saying “Thai-m for more!”

If you are someone who gets a fatigued jaw, avoid the pad Thai or anything from this restaurant with flat rice noodles, it seems the ones they use are extremely chewy/gelatinous by design according to the staff who served me who just told me “yes rice noodles are meant to be chewy”

I have had quite a lot of pad Thai in my life and I have never had noodles this chewy/gelatinous before (when properly cooked.) I am very confident they were over or undercooked but obviously I don’t live here so maybe that’s just how they are in Switzerland.

Another issue was when ordering I was asked if I wanted a drink, I said “no, I’m good” which the staff immediately followed up with, “for water, sparkling or still?” I did reply “still” and of course was charged 4.8 franc for it on the bill without warning. I understand cultures are different but I find it reasonable to understand if a customer says “no” when asked about a drink that means they don’t want to pay for one. Obviously the staff who took my order is trained to prey on foreigners to make them pay ludicrous amounts for plain water. I’ve eaten out a few times in Switzerland and haven’t had this issue before I went to this restaurant. If I told the staff serving me “no, I’m good” when asked for a drink they didn’t pretend to offer me free water and instead just said “ok/yep.”

Really disappointed as the food itself was pretty good in terms of flavour, but when 80% of my meal was overly chewy noodles, the staff was immediately dismissive of my concern, and I was mislead to pay for plain water, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
