A small authentic Vietnamese dessert spot with a huge variety. The bánh ít trần was great, with lots of filling, a good sticky texture, and mung bean coating.

I came here to get some desserts but one of the desserts was old and hard (the chuoi nuong) I couldn’t even chew it because it was so hard like they left if out overnight. This is really disrespectful to customers.

I have tried desserts from here but this was my first time coming here in person. The place is packed, even during the day they have a line. I ordered #2 and a coconut milk dessert with taro, which was very good. I also ordered the sesame balls, they are 3 for $1. Finding parking is hard, the restaurant is located in a small corner shopping center where there is 4 to 5 restaurants and a liquor store.

#1 has beans and coconut milk, not too sweet but definitely not my favorite or will order again.
#2 was really good, it’s sweet but perfect!

A small authentic Vietnamese dessert spot with a huge variety. The bánh ít trần was great, with lots of filling, a good sticky texture, and mung bean coating. The xôi lá cẩm and xôi lá dứa combo was great The rice itself was dry, but the mung bean and coconut topping made it better. The Bánh rán was good, but it tasted too oily.

This place has the best Vietnamese desserts. Customer service is good. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. I don’t speak much Vietnamese but I know just enough to order. My go to is the Chè Ba Mau. Parking is limited but you can always park in the nearby neighborhood and walk there.

Indulge yourself in a Vietnamese dessert paradise!

Whenever my partner and I are in the area, we always make it a point to stop by for some indulgent afternoon treats. The che chuoi, with its perfect combination of banana, coconut sauce, tapioca, and casava, is always my partner’s favorite, while I can never resist the 3 color dessert, a generous cup filled with delicious toppings like red beans, mung bean paste, and tapioca.

Despite the crowds and overwhelming number of choices, you can’t go wrong with anything here. The quality and taste of the desserts are always top-notch. The only downside is the parking can be a bit of a hassle during peak hours, so be sure to keep an eye out for available street parking.

Not all the workers here speak English so if you can bring a Vietnamese friend, that will be best. They also have a young worker that can help with translating what each tray contains if you’re curious on what to try.

Pro tip: Bring cash as they don’t accept credit cards. You can always Venmo the owner but it’s just easier to have extra cash handy.

A Vietnamese friend recommended this place to me, saying it offers authentic Vietnamese snacks — and I’m glad I gave it a try!

I sampled a few different snacks (though I’m not exactly sure what they were called), but everything I tried was tasty and very affordable.

There was a short wait before ordering, but once our order was taken, the service was quick and efficient.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to try authentic Vietnamese desserts and snacks!

Cash only fyi! Decent assortment of desserts but quite overpriced for quality. Other reviews say same thing. $4/ea for a small dessert. Tiny sesame balls are $2/5 and not quite worth it. Noticed volume of customers is dropping, likely due to prices. If you’re next door for 7 leaves, maybe stop by. Otherwise, try another che place.

Love the Che here. Their homemade Nuoc Dua is the bomb and I can literally put that on anything. They must be busy all the time here because I had to drive back a second time to finally get a parking space. It was worth it though because their Che is off the hook. The staff were also very nice and prices were very reasonable. Good thing I don’t live near this part of California because I would get drunk off their Che.

I have been coming here since the 1990s when I went to UCI. These days, I only get to visit this place once a year when I come home from MD. Love the 3 colored dessert, the sweet rice and cassava/banana in coconut milk.

FYI. It’s cash only. Although this means that I have to stop by at an atm since I don’t use or carry cash. But worth every time.
