I was always a big fan of TGIFridays so I was excited to find this location in Ft Smith! This one is nice even though it is a little outdated and dark, but the service is not consistent and the menu has changed a lot recently with higher prices. They do have great rewards and promos though, so we have visited a few times for their happy hour and $5 drinks and apps. I love their potato skins, spinach dip, and whiskey glazed chicken. Service is average and friendly, but they don’t clear the table ever, which is frustrating when our table is always cluttered. But if you are looking for a good happy hour, it is worth stopping by! They have it every day from 3-6 and 9-close.

Worst steak in all of fort smith… fries were cold and sizzlin steak was not sizzling… save yourself some money and time and buy a steak from Walmart.

The fried green beans were as good as I remember. On this weeknight, they were not at all busy and staff were super helpful and friendly. One app, one entree with an upgraded side, and a glass of water was $32 before tip.
Chips and salsa were free with a coupon and were worth ever penny I didn’t pay. Whiskey glazed chicken was great. Loaded macaroni was UH-MAZE-ING!

Menu has changed since the last time we went. It’s ok, I wouldn’t order the strips and shrimp again very small strips. The mashed potatoes seem to be instant potatoes they weren’t as good as the potatoes we’ve had there in the past. An ok meal, could improve.

I understand there was a large party at the same time we were there, but waiting 40 minutes for three drinks at the bar is unacceptable.
When we asked about the delay to the bartender herself, we were told the drinks were already made and sitting there, and she will find someone else to run them. That response was frustrating. If drinks are ready, they should be delivered — by any team member! That reflects poor teamwork and communication.
What made the situation worse was the lack of an apology or accountability. Instead, we were handed an app card for “next time,” which felt dismissive and avoided addressing the real issue. This was a staff coordination problem, and it should be addressed internally.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the service fell well below reasonable expectations.

Bartender was very rude and poor service. Went around bar talking to other customers about my spouse’s order. Took forever to get a drink refill and the resturant wasn’t even busy.. If you hate your job and not good at it.. Maybe you should quit YOU SURE KNOW HOW TO WORK FOR YOUR TIP!

My family and I have always enjoyed coming to this restaurant, suddenly now all waitress looked at us had us there waiting and didn’t bother to ask for our drinks… our waitress would just stare at us and be in the kitchen on her phone and walk away not acknowledging us. Mind you we waited 10 more min to be attended and nothing. We won’t be coming back anymore. The ladies that set us were very friendly but the customer service is what brings back the clients !!!

We recently stopped by TGI Fridays in Fort Smith and found it to be a dependable spot for classic American comfort food. We ordered their signature ribs and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, both of which delivered exactly what we were hoping for—hearty portions and familiar flavors.
The ribs were tender, with the signature whiskey-glaze giving them that sweet and smoky flavor TGI Fridays is known for. They came with seasoned fries and brocolli, making it a full, satisfying plate. The Philly cheesesteak was also a solid pick—thinly sliced steak, sautéed onions and peppers, and melted provolone served on a soft roll. It’s not a traditional Philly by any means, but it was warm, cheesy, and hit the spot.
Service was consistent throughout our visit. Our server checked in at the right times and food arrived in a reasonable window. The atmosphere felt clean and casual, with the usual mix of TVs, music, and a laid-back vibe that works well for groups.
Overall, we wouldn’t say it was anything surprising or elevated, but that’s not really what we came for. It’s comfort food served reliably in a space where you can relax and unwind. For a casual meal—especially if you’re in the mood for ribs or a hot sandwich—this location does the job just fine.

The service was absolutely terrible. West outside but had to go inside to the bar to get a drink. The rest of the time our waitress was completely inattentive. There were not very many customers at all seated inside but our waitress claimed she wasn’t able to take care of us because the inside was so busy. At maximum, there were only about 20 cars in the entire parking lot. The last straw was that my chicken was under cooked. It was slimy with an odd texture. When we told the management about our experience, we were simply offered a free desert,,, for my birthday. We will NOT be returning to this TGIF. This is one of the worst dining experiences we have had.
