Tex’s Chicken & Burgers location on Woodland Ave has good staff members that prepare the food with care about quality and quantity. They make sure you have enough food for what you have paid for. The store has plenty of seating area and also a side parking for their own customers. Keep up the good work

I never ate inside so I left atmosphere blank. However, I have had their fiery wings, medium and spicy chicken pieces, biscuit, cole slaw, mash potatoes, corn on cobb and loaded fries. This is actually one of my favorite Halal fast food to order from. It’s food is fresh, chicken seasoned well, crickle fries. I recommend this establishment for their fiery wings, chickens, mash potatoes, and cole slaw.

I decided to give them another chance since the last time I had a negative experience. They seem to be hit or miss. First time back, I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was pretty good. Nice size patty.
This time, half the patty was thin (like what I experienced months ago) and doesn’t cover the whole bun. I also asked for no tomato on the sandwich. I let them know and returned to sandwich so they can make another one. All they did was take off the tomato and give it back to me. Had I had a tomato allergy, that would have been a big issue.
They have improved since last time but still need to make some adjustments.

I ordered the 4-piece fried spicy chicken combo with fries and Fanta Orange. I had specifically requested no wings, but wings were still included in my order. The fried chicken was delicious with a nice, bold spicy flavor. The French fries, however, were not great. They were quite hard and lacked freshness. I will definitely order the spicy fried chicken again. The packaging was well done and securely sealed.

I’m really disappointed with my experience today. I usually travel almost 30 minutes just to come here because it’s hard to find good halal food in the area, and my kids really love the chicken from this place.
However, the staff behavior today was unacceptable. The guy with glasses who was at the counter around 4 PM was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked a simple question, he didn’t even respond. There was no chicken available, so I asked about the waiting time—he ignored the question. When I politely asked whether I should wait or leave, instead of giving me an estimate, he just said it’s my wish to decide, in a very rude tone.
Because of his attitude, I ended up leaving the shop without buying anything, even though my kids were really looking forward to it.
@Owner – please look into this and make sure your staff are trained to be polite and respectful toward customers. The food is good, but service like this will drive loyal customers away.

My boyfriend and I had decided to give them a try and get their chicken sandwich meals, and they sandwiches were pretty ok, they kind of tasted similar to McDonald’s chicken sandwiches but they weren’t bad though would definitely consider giving them a try again in the future. No go zone trust me at counter 1 guy with glasses and with evil eye has very bad behavior. I ask for some ketchup he gave me devil eye . He works like not getting paid . On the other side 1 skinny like Indian Lady she always nice with people .
And I bought loaded fries for my girl man that’s big time no no for that type of food . It’s their top failure item . All you see greasy Boul of taste less fries waste of money . For sure no loaded fries .

Samedi’s Barbecue Foot Massage
I like the food here and my family comes often, however I just had a pretty stressful day and wanted to get some food to take home, I waited in the drive thru for about 10 minutes while someone made their order, and when the guy got to me a simply ask if the 6pc wings came with fries and he got immediately irritated with me and said they do not sell wings and I shouldn’t waste his time and just come inside and order… ?????? ???????????? Why on earth would you speak to anyone like that? Beyond disrespectful and disgusting ruined my appetite, i’m a very patient person but I cannot take such disrespect and feel safe eating there.

This place is literally thee worst! Every time I come here I have to order whatever they have left and they don’t close for hours!. I can never get the fiery wings nor the fried shrimp basket. The lady there at night with accent is rude very poor customer service. Is there not a manager there and if so what are you paying them for? They do what they want at this location. It says they close at 3 but if you come at 1:30 you’ll get nothing but chicken. It used to be my spot when I was younger but man I guess times have changed. I come from far to eat this places food and this is like the 3rd time repeatedly they’ve done this to me. Me nor my friend circle are coming back to this place after this experience. Ridiculous and don’t know how they have anything more than a 2 star. They can’t even pick up the phone so you can place an order or see if it’s too late for a burger. I usually never leave bad reviews but this is an issue that I’ve run into multiple times.
