Unfortunately, customer service is poor in most branches, and this is not based on a single visit but on repeated experiences.
Some employees lack basic customer service skills, and the attitude is unprofessional at times.
No customer expects to be treated poorly while paying for a service.
In my opinion, investing a small additional amount in hiring and training qualified staff would make a significant difference.
Employees represent the image of the restaurant, and no matter how good the food is, bad service ruins the entire experience.
I hope the restaurant owner takes this matter seriously if they truly care about the reputation of the place.

I came on jan 27 around 12:30 am and i ordered chicken sandwich with cheese but it came with no cheese and it was ice cold and rude customer service

I tried this place over the weekend..We ordered 10pc meal for $20.. Mixed(reg & spicy) three sides(mac and cheese, corn and coleslaw) and 3 biscuit.. They gave me the mixed chicken literally all mixed together so we didn’t know what was reg and what was spicy..usually other places separate with paper. we didn’t receive 2 out of 3 of tthe sides we ordered instead they gave us two fries and corn . Service was kind of slow and it wasn’t busy at all.. So rating it base off my first experiences i will rate it 1 star for now. I’m willing to try it again.

I might sue this location for false advertisement showcasing 4 pieces of chicken for $5. Two occasions I went to location order the 4 pieces for $5 just to receive 3 pieces and biscuit. If you look close at the ad it say 3 pieces of chicken and 1 biscuit. Also the lady at the counter needs to be in back permanently. She lacks customer service and does not acknowledge customers at all. She was too busy fill orders and forgot to fill my online order. The chicken is okay at best. I will not be going back. I recommend going to wingstop instead. The owner needs to change the staff at this location. This must be a family run operation.

Expect the worst from these people — I felt like I got scammed today. I ordered a chicken sandwich and they said a “deluxe” which costs a few dollars extra would have onions and a bunch of other add-ons and whatnot. However, it was all just a fraudulent nonsensical additional charge added to my total and a marketing ploy. They charge for extra sauce, which is free in any Tex’s store I’ve been to in Queens, (which is in NYC and not in this small irrelevant town in Long Island, so that was a bummer). Unfortunately, there are NO refills on soda , which is offered in most Tex’s stores in Queens, and when I did get my soda cup (their lackluster soda machine is behind the counter), the young brown lady in the front with glasses only filled my cup 75% full. I had to show them in order to fill my cup to the top. Can you believe it? How broke is this store? I ordered loaded fries too and you would much rather pay me not to eat it because it’s just fries and chicken slathered with sauce, and the sauce just tastes like mayo and ketchup mixed together… I asked for fast food not my granny’s experimental masterpiece.
The only good things about this store is how clean it was… I think this must’ve been their first week being open because everything seemed relatively new. Also, the chicken was nice and hot on my sandwich but on another chicken sandwich I ordered, it has some red pinkish stuff inside, almost like it was slightly undercooked. Hope they don’t get a food safety violation
Overall, I am not coming back to this Tex’s location and I would not recommend this place to anyone who needs to eat fried chicken or burgers. Avoid the Shah’s next to it as well, since both are just as garbage (especially since no one comes). Go to another Tex’s if you can if you want to eat Tex’s so badly.

The chicken and burgers here are very good, unfortunately the orders are ALWAYS wrong! I’m tired of giving my money to someone who doesn’t listen and doesn’t understand you when you order. My order is EVERY time incorrect! I’m tired of going back to get or correct something they messed up! What is the problem? EVERY TIME? You look me in the face and repeat the items 20 times and STILL get it wrong? I don’t understand! MANY people are dissatisfied with this. (ergo the low ratings). Also, don’t upcharge for strawberry lemonade by .50 and then put it in a large cup and then charge me the large size price (.75) especially when I ordered a COMBO! So I paid $1.25 extra per cup added onto the combo price! (They don’t tell you that). Oh yeah, don’t forget the tax! So I’m paying $2.00 extra for my already comboed combo! This is a bunch of B.S.! Love the food, hate the sneaky way they do their pricing, and make constant mistakes!

I bought the loaded fries, they were Luke warm and to soft, the pieces of chicken was Luke warm along with the cheese. It was like pulling something already made out the fridge and warming it up. Fresh fried French fries with freshly made chicken would have been awesome. I will not go back.
