Breakfast tacos were tasty and generously topped with fresh, sliced avocado. Hash browns were a little heavy and too brown as a side. Fresh sliced tomatoes as a side were ripe and delicious. Hot sauce was thick, spicy, and fresh. Owner Chris was very accommodating and allowed us to do take-out because we did not want to turn off our car, as we had to jump it to get it started earlier that morning. They normally don’t do take out because they are so busy. A line to enter was forming by 8:30am. We did have to wait awhile to get our food but it was good and hot when we got it. So much so that it melted the Styrofoam container! They offer a 10% Veterans discount. They charge 3.5% if you pay with credit card. Breakfast tacos for 3 with 20% tip was $55 with no drinks—just tap water. I would return here and eat inside.

Tried this place out after noticing there always seems to be a line out the door on weekend mornings. Tried the crab melt and Maui mimosa. The mimosa was a nice size and tasted balanced on the champagne:juice ratio. The crab melt was cooked perfectly and had a generous portion of crab meat. The bread was crispy and seasoned deliciously. The fries were a huge disappointment and were nothing like what was pictured on the menu. They were lukewarm, not crispy, and very dry. I did the garlic Parmesan upgrade for $2 and felt like they went very light on those toppings.

I had biscuits and gravy and found them to be less than exciting but edible. The other three people I was with had French toast, bacon and eggs with sourdough toast and a banana pancake breakfast. They enjoyed their meals. I will try again with a different selection. Place was kind of quirky with all the dollar bills stapled to the ceilings.

Excelent restaurant for breakfast or lunch. It’s located in the heart and soul of Fredericksburg, which makes it perfect. The food was delicious. Their customer service was great. We arrived 30 min before closing, and we’re provided A+service. The prices are very reasonable, and you get a lot for food. This was the first time I didn’t get to finish my burger, so big. The loaded potato soup was delicious. This has become my to go restaurant every time I visit Fredericksburg for lunch. You can park right across from it, and walk around after your meal.

I had the Huevos Rancheros and I must say, they were the best I ever had. I was blown away by the combination of flavors and textures along with the perfectly cooked eggs that were perched on top of the crispy tortillas drenched in rich flavorful sauce. The portion was generous, making it a good value for the price.

The eggs, pancakes and breakfast tacos were all loved. But we didn’t like the bacon, and that’s so critical to a good breakfast. My son-in-law didn’t like the chicken and biscuits, but that’s mainly because it was covered in bacon. Service was great, ambiance was great.

Had the biscuits and sausage gravy. The gravy must have been sausage ‘flavored’ as I could not really SEE any sausage in it. It truly did not tatse like anything other than salted and peppered white gravy. The biscuits were delicious but the gravy was a huge disappointment. The homestyle potatoes needed more flavor as well. One friend had an omelet and another a scrambled egg plate. The eggs tasted like packaged liquid eggs according them, the did not really eat the eggs. The mimosas were delicious though and we shared two pitchers for 5 people. The mimosas made the breakfast taste better.

It was our second morning in Fredericksburg and we came across this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The biscuits & gravy were amazing and the pancakes (not pictured) were so good! Be prepared to wait as there was a long wait period but worth it.

We arrived at 1.30pm and were half expecting to be turned away with a “sorry, kitchens closed”, like we have experienced in Australia. But no, a warm friendly welcome, full menu and prompt service.
