Stopped in today and the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Why im giving it a low rating was price over quality. When I paid it was over twenty dollars for two burgers, two small fries, and two small drinks that were all separate. Refills were a strange 54 cents. When we got the burgers the quality was very poor. They tasted just like frozen store brand patty’s. I don’t think I’ll stop in here again.

First and last time eating at this place. Way over priced for the quality of food. Order was COMPLETELY wrong! It was ridiculous!!!! The whole time we sat there all I kept hearing was “I’m sorry” being said to everyone! As if our meal bad wasn’t enough we got dipped ice cream cones too. The ice cream was WAY too soft for dipped cones but theu made a huge mess anyways and handed them to us. I wish I could post pictures. Terrible. Just a terrible experience!!! Never again.

My burger was good and I enjoyed a dipped cone for dessert. Nothing special. There is a lot of deferred maintenance that would make this place so much better and attract more customers. New signage, paint, updated menu board. Walking in the place looks like I’m stepping back into the 80s. The bathroom toilet didn’t work well and I couldn’t wash my hands as the faucet was missing its knob. I would love to see this place reinvest in itself as there’s not many other decent local options unless you want fast food, Smithhearts, organic Chili’s. It really could be a hidden gem in town.

*For brazoria location. Angleton location fine as far as I know* This is not the burger and shake joint you remember growing up… This “restaurant” and it’s customer service is not even on par with modern taco bells. Let me explain what happened.
I wanted to show my girlfriend what a burger and shake joint is like, and it’s appearance is jut that. But not even 10 seconds in the door we are met by this very rude and unfriendly worker. He is short, scrawny, around 50something years old.. anyway, long story short he purposefully rang us up for he most expensive version of the drink we ordered without asking us what size we wanted. And then the chicken strip basket we received was pathetic. 4 tiny bite sized chunks of deep fried chicken, and what looked like half a handful of overcooked string fries. After paying 15$ for a soda, 1 burger, and a chicken strip basket, I was very upset about the lack of effort put into the food. So I politely asked for a refund. For some reason this guy had it out for me. He was rude, tried to refuse my refund. I even paid for the drink but told him I’m unhappy with the service and food. He got really snarky and kept this childish smirk on his face as he began to argue with me. I eventually asked him for his name because I wanted to report his disrespectful and rude behavior to his boss. He said his name was ‘santa’ like a jacka–. I will never go back to this location. He claims he is the owner. Don’t know what I ever did to that guy but he ruined our evening and I will spread the word that that establishment is no good. Overpriced deep fried garbage served by bitter old jacka–. Got 75 percent of my money back and got tacos down the road. Don’t waste your time here.

Great food. Decent price. Come here a couple times a week. Rachel the counter lady is super friendly and always a good time. I’ll totally recommend this place to anyone.
