We visited the restaurant at around 8pm on a Friday with our two dogs and were happily greeted by the staff and seated on their outdoor patio. They also have the only outdoor patio of all the restaurants in Roanoke Rapids. They are also the ONLY sit down restaurant in Roanoke Rapids that is dog friendly. The staff brought our dogs water and showered them with attention.
The bar staff is responsible for the outside seating and did a wonderful job of providing good service for us and the busy bar inside.
You are provided with dinner rolls with butter when you arrive. Our order was taken promptly and our food arrived fast and was warm and tasty.
We got the onion pedals appetizer, signature Marshall Dillon Ribeye, and the signature Crunchy Fried Shrimp with 2 soda’s (Coke products) and our bill was $52.00. A very reasonable price for a Friday night dinner out.

Delicious food and friendly service! Even when they messed up the order, they fixed it no questions asked. We loved the bartender and the ribs were so good! Nice, clean, friendly, and PATRIOTIC stop on our road trip!!

It took an hour to get garbage food. The med-rare steak as tough like boots, the brisket was dry like cardboard, and the ribs were somehow too fatty. This place sucks, we should have turned around when we saw it was empty. NOW WE KNOW WHY IT WAS EMPTY.

After reading some of these reviews I can understand why . Our waitress was sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Our order was not correct and she took it back. By the second time of sending food back the manager came over and personally took our food back to the kitchen. The last time our food came out hot but no taste what so ever! I noticed that the couple next to our table also sent their food back multiple times . I usually don’t post comments about a restaurant but this was beyond satisfying .

Stopped here on the way up from Savannah, GA to Philadelphia, PA (Oct. 2012). The bread and fried onion were pretty good. The server was very nice, as well, but that is all that was good about the place. Our dinners were really pretty bad. My fiance ordered a side of mushrooms which were basically offensive. They tasted like feet. Our plates were dirty, steaks were mostly gristle, and the restrooms were pretty gross. We expressed our displeasure to our waitress, and the manager never even came and asked what the problem was. My guess is the place is going to close next week and they just don’t care. Don’t waste your time with this place!

Wanted to try something different and found a hidden gem. Happened to go in on a Thursday and it was All You Can Eat Ribs for $15.99. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The crowd wasn’t large and our meals came out in a timely manner. The ribs were endless and very good. We enjoyed ourselves and will soon return

Been a really long time since we my husband and I have been here to eat, so we went tonight food was great the service was not. Waitress only came to our table about three times letting us both run out of what we were drinking, my husband got beer and I got tea. She did not even bother to ask if I would like more tea, asked my husband once if he wanted another beer. Poor pityful service period. Won’t be going there again no time soon. NOPE!!!!!!

When this restaurant first opened it was excellent. The quality has gone significantly downhill recently. I have eaten here on three occasions within the past two months. On the first occasion, our food took over an hour to arrive even though the restaurant was only moderately busy. On the second occasion, I ordered a medium rare steak which came out about five minutes past well done. My husband ordered a burger which came out raw in the center. On the third and final time I will eat there, my food took over an hour to arrive. The baked potato was raw in the center. As I said, when this restaurant first opened it was excellent; however, now it would be best to avoid.

Great service we had one the best waitresses in town. We had a baby gender reveal with over twenty people. She had our orders right and on time, refills and with a smile. The whole staff was great. Can’t wait to go again.
