The service was really top-notch. The server checked on us frequently. The main reason that I only gave 3 stars, was the prime rib. I ordered it MR, and it came well done, and was tough. I don’t like wasting food, so I didn’t say anything. It almost looked as if it started out as a rib eye steak, and it was roasted instead of from a whole prime rib. I will be back to try a steak, though, because it looks as if most good reviews was about the steaks.

Food was very good ordered the fish and the chicken fried steak beans and okra was delicious. Service was OK we really didn’t need anything else. Atmosphere was OK but it’s a little warm inside.

We are from Virginia, traveling through Texas and stopped here on a whim. What a lucky find! Terrific local restaurant with friendly staff and wonderful food. I had the rib-eye and quail combo, and both were cooked perfectly! The best steak I’ve had in years.

Amazing service. Had several people walk by and ask me if I was okay or needed anything else. Food got out pretty quickly. I got the cheddar cheese filled jalapeno poppers for an appetizer, and they were delicious. Then I got the Terrell special, that includes an 8 oz ribeye and 4 ribs and either your choice of a baked potato or two sides. I opted for the two sides, and got cheese covered broccoli and okra. Everything tasted good, but I would say that the steak was fairly thin, and the ribs were really dry. Nothing that a little bit of barbecue sauce couldn’t fix, which they brought me as much as I wanted. I also appreciated that they included a few slices of onion and a roll and a pepperoncino as well. I was $45 out the door just for myself, and I only had water to drink. But overall it’s pretty good. I would say however that it is pretty expensive for the quality that you get. Also, the seats are the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever sat in in my entire life. They are super straight up and down to the point where I was actually forced to lean forward, and the padding is very thin and uncomfortable. I’ll probably be back, but I wouldn’t rank it as a top steak joint. See my picture of what I ordered here.

Best place ever! Steak is always perfectly cooked! I get steak and quail. Quail isn’t Gamey. Just like one of the other reviews said, cooked to perfection. Everyone of the employees is so kind.

We are so HAPPY to have found this place. Seriously best steak in Kaufman county. It is almost completely on the outskirts of Terrell on Hwy 80 going to Wills Point. We ordered the ribeye and ribs. Steak and ribs were cooked to absolute perfection. Salad before the meal was huge and abundant with all of the stuff I love in my salad. Dinner rolls were on point as well. This is now our Steak place from here on out. We will highly recommend to anyone looking for a real steak place.

I had the rib eye steak, which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. There were plenty of fries, and the salad was very good as well. My wife had the chicken fried steak and said it was one of the best meals she has had in a restaurant in months. Everything was hot and fresh. Strongly recommend for great food, great service, and reasonable prices.
