Everyone must stop here and eat especially if you are familiar with Texas Style food and flavor.
We were driving to Destin and looking for a place to eat and drove by and the sign caught my eye and we decided to give it a try since we love “Texas” food.
Cowboy Balls are out of this world and full of flavor!
Steaks are seasoned to perfection Texas style and cooked tenderly with top of the line beef. No frozen meat served here; that is for certain. There is no need for steak sauce for any of their steaks.
Salad bar is fresh and lots of options.
Cowboy beans, hand-cut chips, bread and pork sandwich were all delicious. Will be stopping again to try other entrees and sides.

We truly appreciated Heather taking the time to come out to our table to talk with us and answer our many questions about her delicious food. She is a genuine and kind soul who deeply loves her home state of Texas and enjoys sharing her joy of food with the world! We were just passing through the city on a road trip and randomly chose this restaurant for lunch… and we absolutely nailed it. The food was delicious! I loved the 2–3 meat plate option. The ribs and brisket were amazing, and the sides were great as well. The crispy Brussels sprouts and the baked beans were a true treat. The Banana Pudding dessert was the best we’ve had so far. The staff was super friendly, and our server was very kind and attentive, always checking in to see if we needed anything. The place is totally kid and family-friendly. This is definitely a must-visit spot!

This was the most pleasant experience! The atmosphere was so clean, temperature in the dining area was perfect, the decor was hand crafted and everything looked great. We were met with the greatest hospitality with all staff members, they were all so polite, attentive and attention to detail and always willing to help. I literally felt like I was at my grandmas house eating with family. With them it’s more than just making money, they are making family members there. Now let’s get to the food……It was promptly made to order, it was cooked to perfection, and everything I’ve tried was the best I’ve ever ate. You should even see the presentation of the food, it was amazing. We make this a must “stop” ever time we go to the lake house. Please come and enjoy the experience, you will thank me later. Came with friends to visit from Pennsylvania and figured we would try the place out. Absolutely FANTASTIC! Cowboy balls were amazing, brisket was perfect and the Texas totchos.. Phenomenal!!! Definitely will be back next time we come down for a visit!

I loved this place. Everything from the food to the very attentive server. I got a 16 ounce ribeye, brussel sprouts and salad. The steak was cooked perfectly. There was no tough spot whatsoever in the steak. The brussel sprouts had some type of savory sauce on top !! Phenomenal!!!! Being a party of one the server made me feel very at home as well.

Exceptional staff—friendly, fast, and genuinely attentive. The whole place has a warm, small-town feel that makes you feel right at home. The food was outstanding overall. This is a legit steak house, no question about it. We had to try their famous Cowboy Balls—bacon-wrapped bites stuffed with steak, shrimp, chicken, cheese, and more. They sounded irresistible, and while they were fun to try, they ended up tasting like a deep-fried mix of everything. Still glad we gave them a shot, but the real highlight was the quality of the main dishes. If you’re in Eufaula and craving good barbecue or a proper steak, this place is worth the stop!

I recently visited the Texas Smoking Guns Restaurant at 3301 S Eufaula Ave, in Eufaula, AL. I walked in and was quickly seated and my drink order taken. I then asked about the menu and that night they had a taco special. The tacos were good and so were the cowboy beans. I had a chance to speak with the owner and discussed my meal and restaurants in the area. Worth a visit!

We were looking for a good local BBQ place to stop for lunch as we were passing through since we don’t get much good Texas BBQ (or much of any) in New England. The food was delicious, really well prepared. Portions were generous. We had the brisket, ribs and pulled pork. All were excellent. The brisket was so tender and juicy! I wish we had taken some to go. Ribs were very well seasoned, fork-tender, so good! Big pile of smoky, yummy Pulled pork. Cowboy beans were very good but the corn pudding was cheesy and so good. Salad bar was fresh and filled with so many topping choices. Staff was friendly and service was quick and attentive. Highly recommend you make this a must-make stop.

Highly recommend this restaurant. I’m so glad we discovered it. We will be returning every chance we get. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. My husband enjoyed his perfectly cooked steak while watching the Alabama/Tennessee game. My fish and onion rings were amazing. So were the garlic cheese bites and the hush puppies! Yummm. It was so nice to meet owners and eat in a restaurant that really cares about their customers and their dining experience. A cut above the rest!
