Excellent food, for first timers I strongly recommend the sampler or bbq nachos. Had consistent check-in’s by the waitress and had very respectable employees. Soft warm setting in the restaurant in my opinion. 5 stars definitely going again.

The only good thing I can say is that the coke was crisp and the fries were decent. The brisket was tough and had zero taste. Spent $50 for 2 adults and 1 child at lunch. Ordered the brisket grilled cheese $13, Texas cheese steak $15 and kids chicken fingers $8, 2 drinks $6 and a chocolate shake $7. Service was fast…a little too fast. The lunch special is just the sandwich no sides. Kid lunch had 2 small fingers and more fries which were good. Grilled brisket sandwich was chunks of brisket with a slice of cheese and grilled onion, Texas cheese steak was chunks of brisket, nacho cheese sauce, onions and jalapeno. The meat was cold.

Oh my goodness 5 stars are not enough. Everything was clean and the smell was amazing.. best food I have had in a while! My favorite was the blackberry balsamic wings but everything we had was awesome!!!!

Just picked up food from here. I got a children cheeseburger for my kids and when I got home and cut it open and it’s not even close to done. So now I’m having to cook it. I tried to call multiple times no answer. Fries are good, milkshake was great. Philly was very good but still disappointed to have spent that money and had to come home and cook my children burger.

I picked up an order to go. I did not have a bad experience with service or atmosphere, but I only went to the drive through window. I am giving them a 5 for service and atmosphere even though I was only there about a minute if that long, so I really don’t have much to base that review on. However, I was disappointed in the food. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. Looking at the other reviews all I can say is most people don’t really know what good food tastes like. I ordered a pound of pulled pork. Was this pulled pork smoked? It certainly doesn’t taste smoked to me. It tastes like someone put a pork roast in the crock pot and cooked it without any seasoning. I arrived back home to open up the bag and found a prepackaged, shrink-wrapped, pound of cold pork. It looked like it came straight from the commissary somewhere. Maybe PFG? If you are going to order it from somewhere and not smoke it then at least open it up, warm it, add a little sauce and maybe some liquid smoke to try and make it taste homemade. The coleslaw doesn’t taste homemade either. It taste like it was bought in the Wal-Mart deli. Yuck! Ya’ll know you are competing with homemade coleslaw just a couple of miles down the road, right? I don’t know if this review will help you or not. If you have enough business from people who obviously like the food then you probably won’t listen to this advice. I will come back and try the burgers and fries. I just thought since this is a “smokehouse” that the BBQ would be the way to go. It’s just not for me. With Rib Country north and Johnny’s BBQ south I will stick with the more authentic BBQ.

This is actually mÿ 3rd time to eat here and 5 stars isn’t enough. For a new restaurant in the area its a breath of fresh air. John the owner is very personal in his approach to customer service. If you are in the mood for authentic Texas BBQ stop by, the door is always open.

Our first visit and we were extremely pleased. Very well informed and enthusiastic young lady greeted us immediately. I had the wagyu meatloaf with house potato,(think twice baked, chopped up, and baked casserole style) delish and the collards were spot on. Husband had the sampler platter , ate his fill, then brought some home for tomorrow. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented. Highly recommend!.
