Fried rice was fine but chicken was UNDERCOOKED. Chicken tasted raw. I spoke to the lady and she said they cooked the best they could. And they told me I need cook it myself further if I want it more cooked? Who says that? Its their duty to make sure its well cooked. I told them to cook it little well or cook it extra.

Older building at street view, looks drab. But don’t let that deter you, it is very simple & clean place. The Food is Awesome. Servers were very attentive.

I had the bacon wrapped scallops, yumm
The Mahi was done perfect and good size portion & the boiled shrimp were jumbo and very Tasty.

Prices are very fair.

1st impression was overcome with attentive service and well prepared Appetizer & Dinner.

Will be back any chance I get!

Well 1st time to try this place out. I had the whole fried catfish (comes with fries and a salad) wife had the NYstrip steak (comes with grilled veggies, bake potato, and salad) oldest daughter got the bacon cheeseburger (comes with fries) youngest got the kids meal catfish and 3 shrimp (comes with fries)
The catfish was ok. It was cooked well but like many others thought a tad bland. Fries were crispy and salad was decent. My wife’s steak she ordered well done and came out rare but they were quick to fix the issue. Kids both liked their food. While waiting on the main course to come we ordered an appetizer of the fried pickles. They were nice and thin (the way I prefer) how ever they were not hot like they were just made… kinda like they made ahead because we went by during a busy time. Overall was a good experience. Will be going by again more than likely and trying something else on their menu. So please check by again and see if their is an update.. please like and rate this review

The service was great and pretty fast. The selections on the menu were great as well – there were a lot of appealing options.
Unfortunately, the food was a bit dry and didn’t have much flavor.
Had the two grilled quail, and I’ve never had quail so dry. The garlic butter helped, but it tasted like it was hardly salted before it was cooked. Not much flavor at all. Never thought I’d say that about quail – the meat itself usually has a natural flavor, but I think it was cooked too long and the flavor was cooked out of the meat.
The sides were cole slaw, which was decent, Cajun rice, which did not deserve that name, because there was hardly any detectable spice, and veggies, which were decent.
My wife got the maji maji, which was also dry. Had more flavor, but could use some more kick. Same sides.
Not horrible prices for the food that we got, but for the price, it should have had more flavor and not been so dry.

I tried out this restaurant for the first time. The ambience was quiet when I went. (Thursday night). I ordered the 2 pounds of crawfish, they had a daily special 2pounds for $12. The crawfish though… was fresh, cajun and spicy garlic flavored. I pressed on the tail and the meat easily came out. So I knew it was fresh and not over cooked. They had a sauce, home made I’m thinking, but what I really enjoyed was the butter on the side. The butter tasted as if it had been stirred in sautéed garlic, and had minced parsley. Very flavorful!

Second I had the Flounder. The rice was missing a bit of flavor. It was like a light brown rice, but perhaps I could have asked for a different type of rice? The flounder was nice and hot, but I think maybe we can explore different batter types for the flounder, missing a tad of flavor and crunch. I think if the rice was different, then the plate would be balanced. Or if the batter on the flounder is changed , then then same rice would be okay, to balance the flavors. The Coleslaw was DELICIOUS. I ended up pouring it over the flounder to give it some sweet and crunch flavor. The coleslaw had a mild sweetness, where I found myself not being able to stop eating it. It was thinly slices , and the carrots gave it a nice color and sweetness. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. And my waitress Asia was nice. The restaurant is small, like a mom and pop type of place. So you may find yourself listening in on the employees discuss whose turn is it to sweep or clean. Lol Over all very good. Fair prices!

Very impressed with the taste of the food! I got the blacken grilled snapper with grilled shrimp. My mom had the hamburger steak (didn’t get a pic) she said it was delicious and kids had the double cheeseburger and chicken tender sandwich. We all loves the fried pickles. Price was reasonable for the amount of food and the quality! Service was excellent as well!

It was empty when me and my boyfriend went but I liked the decor and the friendly staff, my boyfriend got the NY steak and I got a shrimp boil (1lb) . This is a family owned business and I like that, good conversation with the staff and I love my shrimp boils, I’m picky about them but this place made me THE BEST shrimp boil I’ve EVER had. my only regret was not asking for eggs with the boil

First Impressions [5/5]

The restaurant was clean on arrival. We were told to seat ourselves, and soon after were asked for our drink order. The interior is new, recently remodeled. Our drinks were brought out promptly. Our server came by shortly afterward to take our order, but as we had not had time to explore the VERY large menu (more on that below), we asked her to come back. When she returned to take our order, she was polite and very knowledgeable about the menu.

The Menu [Dubious/5]

The menu was very large, containing a variety of different types of food. The majority was fried/grilled seafood and steak, but also listed hamburgers, and, disturbingly, both fried rice and pad Thai. The sheer size of the menu makes me dubious of the quality of all the different dishes. I will of course withhold judgment, since I have not tried all of the dishes listed.

The Food [4/5]

The first dish brought to us was the salad. It was… a salad, featuring lettuce, tomato, red onions, and shredded chedder cheese. The basalmic dressing provided was good. I don’t know if it was prepackaged or prepared in house. The next dish was the stuffed flounder with jumbo shrimp. The presentation was well thought out and pleasing (see photograph). A new restaurant is always hit or miss, but the quality of the food was surprisingly excellent. The shrimp were well seasoned and not rubbery in the least and the flounder was equally tasty. The stuffing is the source of my lone criticism of the dish itself, which is frustrating as it begged to be great. The stuffing had good flavor, but seemed almost muted and the texture was a miss. It was crisp on the outside, but rather than dense and flakey, it was mushy and wet. Overall, a great dish which stumbled a bit.

Final [4/5]
