Visited for an early anniversary meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. At first thought meals were expensive but once they came out they were actually reasonable as they are big.
Steak was cooked well but the ones I had were a bit fatty but other than that the meal was delicious. The other dish was huge and delicious.
Would recommend giving this place a try and we will definitely be returning to try a different dish.

Our fav steak restaurant in town. Apart from the obvious delicious steaks, they have very good kid menu (see pic) not just those babyish usuals. Kid grilled chicken breast was so flavorful and moist. The chef also adjusted the salad to my own preference. Customer service is great and food quality matches its price. Highly recommended!

Texas Rock is a great steak restaurant if you’re in or around Yeovil. In the few times I’ve been there the food has never let them down, even the sides have been great!
The staff are always friendly, even when we asked to move due to being sat under a speaker, they found us a new table straight away and a server came straight over.
The atmosphere is fun and has its charms due to the American theme! It’s just enough that’s it cheesy but not tacky!
It would be worth booking a table as it’s normally quite busy here, always good sign

The evening was full of mistaken orders. Orders that had been forgotten and to cap it all….. Being asked to vacate our table 25 minutes after having placed our dessert order and not having received any of them.
The food is good for large portions, however this is reflected in the price you pay.
The quality of the food was quite variable, even within the same dish.
Would not want to go back after this experience. I do have to say that I have been here previously and enjoyed the meal, although I have always found it slightly overpriced for the night out.

Lovely place the staff were very polite and helpful,the food was great alot of choices and the portions sizes are massive,we were there for a double birthday dinner and both received cow boy hats and a cake at the end of the meal,brilliant we will definitely be going back again

Went here for a recent birthday. They made a fuss of my boyfriend. Hat, birthday sign and cake with sparkler. Food was lovely. Service great andcreally good decor and atmosphere.

Fantastic food service and setting! We wanted to come here for ages and it was better than we thought?!! Best Nacho’s I’ve ever had and the Burger’s were in incredible! Staff were prompt, friendly and helpful and the prices were very good value. A++

Definitely go here hungry, portions are US size and great quality. Highly recommend their mozzarella sticks with BBQ & apple vinegar dipping sauce.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant. Was passing by, and nipped in on the recommendation of a friend. They’ve taken some of the best bits of US dining, whilst carefully avoiding the worst elements!
The staff are great – welcoming, attentive, professional, and plentiful (they weren’t trying to scrape through a Friday night with a skeleton crew).
The menu is really varied, with a dazzling array of temptations. I could not resist the “Camemburger”. It’s a whole deep-fried camembert, in a burger, oozing out delicious melted cheese. The burger was perfectly pink. Chips were just the right level of crispy. I confess that I was just about beaten by the last couple of chips, it’s a hearty meal!

Love this place. The food is always excellent. The staff are always so friendly and fast to respond. Would just say it was a little loud from the music on the tvs at the top table but just a minor thing. Nice birthday treat which made hubby feel special and a surprise muffin and sparkler and a verse of happy birthday brought out at the end for him (even if the muffin was still frozen inside )you can’t really complain as it was free and was a lovely gesture.
I have been several times here, have brought in laws and parents and will go back again many more times on our own and with others.
