Let me tell you — if heaven smells like anything, it’s probably the inside of a Texas Roadhouse. That sweet, buttery, cinnamon-honey aroma hits you like a warm hug from your favorite aunt who also happens to bake for a living.
My wife went full steakhouse mode with the 14-ounce ribeye, perfectly grilled and juicy enough to make even the broccoli on the side feel proud to be there. I, being the rebel of the evening, went for the Smokehouse BBQ Burger — a tower of smoky, saucy glory that could easily qualify as a Texas landmark. Messy? Absolutely. Regret? None whatsoever.
And then there’s Maddie, our server. She was the perfect combo of friendly, funny, and on top of everything. Drinks stayed full, rolls stayed flowing, and she made sure my wife’s “medium rare” didn’t accidentally turn into “cow cremation.” A true steakhouse hero.
Speaking of rolls, let’s be honest — they deserve their own Michelin star. Soft, golden perfection that melts in your mouth like they were crafted by angels who moonlight as bakers.
Texas Roadhouse, you did it again. My belt’s one notch looser, my heart’s full, and I’m already plotting my next visit.

Yeehawww! What can I say that you already don’t know. If you want to go to a good steak house for a reasonable price, this place is it. I’m not a steak and potatoes person but I can eat a loaded baked potatoe with a medium rare steak here. They never fail with the quality of their meats; always fresh, tender, great taste. Once dinner ramps up on the weekend, this place is busy, loud, and hard to find a seat. I always recommend the wait list. During the week, they have a lunch menu and you can get a good dish for a lunch price. And if you haven’t tried their burgers and fries, they offer a fresh hardy burger and fries for a great price. The staff is always friendly and attentive. It’s a good place to dine but if you’re looking for a quiet place this isn’t it. As mentioned, the atmosphere is very lively and busy. Only thing I world improve is the quality of their desserts. We ordered cheesecake and it was def a store bought cake – no problem with that – but we were expecting better quality in comparison to their dishes. Overall, it’s a great place to grab a steak.

If you can believe it, it was my first time here! What a wonderful experience and friendly staff they have! We had Jenny helping us and she was so amazingly nice and everything was perfect. Its rare to find a place that has amazing food, rock solid prices, and actively fun inside. The manager Kelly came by to see how we we’re doing which was very plesant and kind of her. If I could recommended any place is Surprise AZ this is certainly it! We will most certainly be back!

We had a great visit to the Texas Roadhouse in Surprise. The food came out fast, hot, and exactly what we were hoping for. The ribs were the highlight. They were tender with a rich glaze and the extra sauce on the side was a nice touch. The baked potato was loaded with cheese and bacon and tasted great.
The house salad was fresh with lots of toppings and the blue cheese dressing was really good. Everything had that classic Roadhouse feel.
Friendly service, good portions, and a fun atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

Had an awesome dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Surprise! The service was top-notch—Abby was our server and she was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
We ordered the filet medallions and the Fort Worth ribeye, and both were cooked to perfection. Tender, flavorful, and just the way we asked. The sides were great too—the loaded baked potato and mashed potatoes hit the spot, and the green beans with bacon bits added a nice savory touch.
Definitely coming back. Great food and even better service!

Update: Texas Roadhouse, you’re American Flag is flying in an unfit manner.
Be careful when ordering!
This restaurant does NOT use butter in anything. I mean anything…. It’s all Oils and Margarine.
You must tell them you don’t want margarine on anything. Also avoid their sauces and (cinnamon “butter”)

Staff was great except for a mix up we had coming in. We got put on the wait list and somehow put on hold, so for 25 minutes, everyone that came after us got let it before us until I brought it up to the girl at the door. Food was ok. I ordered a medium rare 16oz Ribeye. It was rare, but I like rare too. So no big deal. The steak was good quality meat, but it wasnt seasoned and if it was at some point, it all came off during grilling. Thankfully the table had salt and pepper. The mac and cheese tasted like craft white chedder mac and cheese that had been sitting out. The sweet potato was the best thing on my plate. My wife ordered the “fall off the bone” ribs and they lived up to the name. The meat fell off the bone with every one. We’ll be back again, but I’ll probably stay away from the steaks and try the ribs instead.

Fairly busy Friday night, I had a cocktail and a menu in my hand in a few minutes. Emily, the bartender was great. After she took my order she asked for a name on the order. While I was eating, she repeated my name back to me asking if everything was ok. She remembered my name. Wow. So impressive.
Dustin, the manager came over to ask how was my steak? Excellent. Great service, great food.

Came here for dinner after an awful experience at another restaurant that didn’t care if I left after bad service. I took a seat at the bar where Bree was my server (bartender). I ordered the 20oz bone in ribeye with baked potato, green beans, and mushrooms. To drink I tried the blue crush lemonade. The service was very good. Bree was attentive despite being busy, and had some help as others checked on me. Sweet bread and butter came to nosh on… the steak came, and it was fine. One charred piece, and another piece of gristle. Overall the steak and mushrooms soothed my hunger. The baked potato was good, and the green beans tasty; just a bit too much water in the cup. I took the remains home, and tried the apple pie a la mode. I really liked the lemonade. Tasty and refreshing. The apple pie came and caught my neighbor’s attention as she smelled the cinnamon. A nice dessert… a bit too much crust… yet all was very good. The restaurant is clean, has ample seating, and the restrooms are clean as well. Despite a lot of vehicles in the parking lot I still found parking without a problem. Thank you again to Bree for a pleasant evening. Total tab after tax came to $52.95.

Bought the 20 Oz ribeye. Would not recommend this . I got about 4 bites of steak out of the steak . I’d say was probably abt an ounce . The rest of the the steak was all bone and fat. I have never had such a bad steak. Should have gone next door to the lone star.
