This wasn’t our first time, but today I remembered to take pictures.
We went on a Sunday afternoon and got sat right away. The hostess was very nice, and gave us bread with butter as soon as we got say. Just a few minutes after we got day, our server greeted us and took our drinks order. We got the cactus onion as appetizer. I ordered a Caesar salad, a bone in ribeye and mashed potatoes. Well, the steak was cooked just as I ordered, and cutting it was like cutting soft butter. It was very tender, juicy and tasty. I ate it slowly to enjoy every bite of it, but it was so big I couldn’t finish it all. The price was reasonable for the quality I got. The service was attentive, and the vibe was welcoming and fun.

We ordered to go since it was Super Bowl Sunday. Our order was 15 minutes late. Understandable. We checked our order before leaving and they forgot to put in one of our appetizers. We had to wait 10 additional minutes. We had three orders of Potato Skins and all three were burnt to black. It looked like they burned them, removed the burnt cheese, put fresh cheese on, and the burnt edge’s got more burnt. We ask for extra rolls and they got us two bags, which I was happy about. I’m glad I asked for extra rolls because they didn’t put any rolls in our bags.

It has been a few years since I have been to Texas Roadhouse, so I thought it may be nice to try again. I placed and order at 1:30 to be ready for pickup at 2:30. I arrived early, and they said my order wasn’t ready. At around 2:40, I called and asked for an ETA. The person in the phone said 5 minutes. I watched multiple people grab and leave with their orders during this time. I checked the wait time online to see if they were busy. There was no wait time. I waited 15 more minutes before going to the to-go window. The person there said he had no idea and told me to keep waiting. I expressed frustration as it had already been a half hour. After a few minutes, and with the to-go specialist telling their manager, suddenly my food was ready. I was offered no coupons, no discount, no apology for the wait. It should also be stated I ordered no meat-only sides. No manger came out, no reasoning was giving, and again no apology.
Also, my food was cold, which makes me wonder if my food was waiting in the back and no one brought it to the window. The portions sizes were also small. My salads had maybe three croutons and were barely half full.
So all in all, I did not receive legendary food or service.

Came in tonight during a busy hour and decided to sit at the bar. Jenny was our server and she took excellent care of us! I ordered the cheese fries appetizer & a little sour mocktail. Both were very filling & easily shareable. Jenny made sure to check on us multiple times during our visit and was super quick with our requests. We will be sure to request her as our server again in the future. Thank you!

Tough, tough steaks tonight. Hard to cut. So hard to chew she quit eating hers. Did you really move to smaller side salad plates with even less salad? No bread in the house until after we had eaten our salads? Music so loud we could barely chat. No refill on her Diet Coke from our server so she asked another server for one at the end of eating. Our server comes to say goodbye and offer her a coke to go…. Sees her full refill glass, shrugs at her and just walks off? Manager too busy line dancing to run the house with quality service. Line dance blocking a line of people trying to leave the restaurant with a packed house. Seems it’s time to stop the show and just focus on quality service. What a weird night tonight.

Texas Roadhouse never disappoints! From the moment we arrived, our server Blake was attentive and friendly. He made sure everything was just right. The steak was absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection and full of flavor. And I can’t rave enough about the warm, fresh bread with cinnamon butter; it’s honestly one of the best parts of the meal. The friendly atmosphere, great service, and consistently tasty food keep me coming back. Love this place!

I visited the West Bountiful location today (Valentine’s Day) for lunch. I ordered a Caesar side salad and asked for chicken on the side. Nobody mentioned that adding chicken separately would cost more than simply ordering the full Chicken Caesar Salad. When I got the bill and saw the upcharge, I asked our waiter Shane if he could just bill me for the regular Caesar salad since it would have been cheaper. He said he’d get the manager.
Manager Kari came to the table and flatly refused to adjust the bill — no flexibility, no apology, just “that’s how it is.” She suggested I order a kids meal next time. If I had known the pricing worked that way, I would have ordered the full salad from the start. On top of that, they brought far more chicken than I asked for — I left most of it on the table because I never wanted that much.
The issue isn’t the few extra dollars. It’s that a simple pricing misunderstanding could have been resolved with basic customer service, and instead the manager made us feel like we were in the wrong. A small adjustment to the bill would have kept a loyal customer happy. Instead, we left disappointed — especially on Valentine’s Day.

Seemed like a good idea until we sat down. Waitress didnt seem to care about us. Ordered a medium steak and it came out well done and burnt. Couldn’t tell the waitress because she never came to check on us. Atmosphere was what expect from a texas roadhouse but food and service were absolutely terrible.
