We go to Texas Roadhouse fairly often and we usually get pretty good steaks. Tonight we ordered takeout and when we got home we’re very disappointed in the cook. Both of our steaks were rare when we always get medium. My daughter wouldn’t even eat hers because it was so chewy and red. If we would have eaten at the restaurant we for sure would have sent it back. Such a shame! You spend good money and you expect a properly cooked steak.

We order from here at least twice a week because we’re in Utah for contract so we don’t cook at our hotel much. On the weekdays the food is prepared well, but the weekends we’ve experienced undercooked food. We pay on average $40-80 each time we order and it’s our dinner. We put our trust and money in your cooks and service. Danielle gave a perfunctory apology and coupon but audibly slammed the phone after my husband spoke with her. We’re not looking for a free meal or a refund, we just want a good meal prepared well for the price we pay.

I was kind of disappointed with coming here. I was looking for a good steak and it was overly seasoned and cooked rare on one side and medium on the other. I should have taken pictures because it was weird. However what did save the meal was the chili and mashed potatoes. The chili had a small kick with large cuts of onion. To be honest i’am not a big of big chunks of onion but there wasn’t many . The mashed potatoes were smooth and good sause. Our family loved the rolls and the ribs my sibling got were pretty good. Would I eat there again? Yeah I probably will but there are other options I would go to first. If you want to try a great steak, go to back rout 40 in Heber City.

I walked over from my hotel and had a steak at the bar. My service was exceptional! The bar tender (Ashley) was engaging and helpful and the general manager was making her rounds making sure I was enjoying my meal. Everything about the service was great. This place should be a model for how to treat a customer.
My steak was good and cooked perfectly per my order requests.
The downfall is the bar; it still has the bar setup required by Utah law of 15-20 years ago . The beer taps and bottles are all hidden in a back room. A remodel needs to happen for this to feel like a real bar.

One of the best steakhouse’s we have visited on our travels. The staff were very friendly from walking in until we left. The food turned up fast and was hot and delicious ! The cheeseburger was cooked to perfection (medium) and the server even made sure i was happy with how it was cooked. the manager even came over and said hello and gave us a voucher to use again as she heard we were Aussies this was our first visit to a Texas Roadhouse. Sad we wont be back to this one but look forward to visiting more on our trip !

A loud, busy, fun restaurant to take the whole family to. I was so grateful that Utah had a Texas Roadhouse. I feel bad for anyone who’s never been to one. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed by any Texas Roadhouse location. This location is no exception! Military discount, endless delicious rolls, huge entrees, sides, and drinks. What more could you ask for?
My favorite entrees are the salmon, ribeye, and the prime rib! We always leave with left overs and full bellies. My kids love coming here. Our go-to restaurant as a family of 5.

We had such a great server (Marcus) who was engaging and witty . The food came out fast and hot. The atmosphere was fun! I would definitely come again soon. The kids meals were a hit (except one of our kids ate too many rolls before his main course came out haha)

The ONLY disappointing thing was they did not have any sweet tea. Maybe it’s a Utah thing, but outside of that, everything was on point. One of my favorite mid tier steak houses. Always consistent, tender filets, and great flavor. Excellent service at this location.

To go order. Ordered medium rare FT Worth ribeye way undercooked. Called in the next day since I picked it up at 940pm Tuesday night, the manager said maybe next time order it medium like it’s my fault I got a raw steak.

Had great food and service from all of the staff st the Layton TXRH. Sirloin steaks were so tender. Jaycee was our server. She did a great job being attentive and matching the humor at our table. If Jaycee was busy, other staff members kicked in to help, including managers. Drinks from the bar came quickly. It was overall a great experience last night. Thank you!
