The parking is also weirdly placed. Like, the front door opens onto the road. There’s a lot to the side and then everything else is across the street/drive thing. I mean, it’s not far just odd.
The restaurant seemed clean. I did not visit the restroom. The staff were nice but more than one person asked us questions while walking in front of us and we couldn’t hear them at all. It’s nice to train your staff to be friendly but this wasn’t it. It was awkward. It was just an over all weird experience.
I love the ribeye, but the house salad is the best around. I like that the managers always come around to every table to make sure everything is perfect.
I ordered the chicken strips and fries, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful, not just a bunch of breading. My boyfriend had the country fried steak, which was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of gravy. Although there was a bit of a wait for the food (it was a Friday night, after all), we were seated quickly, which we really appreciated. And of course, the rolls were soft and fluffy as always!
Though the online app and doing that ahead which helped us get to a table quicker was awesome, the real star of the show was our waiter! Our waiter, Troy or “IceMan”, was so friendly and kind, patient and attentive. He immediately made sure we had drinks and was so quick to refill our rolls. He then took our order without even writing it down and it came out not only quickly but RIGHT! like okay memory!!!!!! During the ordering process my brain literally died and he was so patient and so graceful letting me take my time remembering what I wanted. Often times when I struggle remembering I can tell the waiter/waitress is impatient w me and tonight that was far from the case! While we ate our food which was tasty he without asking got me another drink as well as when we were nearing the end of eating he again without asking brought us boxes.
Service like this is how you get regulars. Which we hope to become. I was so impressed I tipped a 100% tip which I’ve never done before. To whatever owner or manager of this establishment you need to give this man a raise and make sure it comes w a bonus!
