Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience TXRH Del Rio Staff!
If not for that, we would have given five starts on everything.
We were celebrating our 46th anniversary, so we were disappointed in the food due to excess salt.
There’s an old saying about salting food: “you can put it in, but you can’t take it out.
We paid a good amount for the meal, so we are not sure if we will come back.”
And I’m a lover of salt too, so this might give you an idea of just how much salt was in the food.
Even the deep fried mushrooms and sautéed mushrooms were salty.
Generally, we’ve had good experiences here, but if you’re going to change the way you operate, you don’t do it without telling patrons first. We would’ve saved 15 mins.
Services after that were good and the food was good.
Tiffany, and the young hostess working with you, this is directed toward you. You made this visit deeply unpleasant, an experience my family and I will never forget. I cannot understand why your staff felt it was acceptable to seat my grandmother so close to a busy ramp, let alone explain that the reason we couldn’t have two tables put together was because our party was only five people and not six or more. This makes no sense, especially when accessibility should be a priority.
I am sharing this experience and naming those involved in hopes that your team receives the training needed and that those responsible are held accountable for this unacceptable behavior. To make matters worse, the hostess’s disrespect, specifically rolling her eyes, was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
Overall, this was one of the most unpleasant visits I have ever had. Please do better, especially with the holiday season approaching. Being a decent human being doesn’t cost a thing.
